The Electra 7 builds on the unique design of the 52 range by utilising superior Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) copper conductors and Silver-clad copper alloy. This model ushers a level of performance that will transform your AV system.
All of the Series 7 cables feature Composilex 2 insulation technology, which minimizes the triboelectric noise produced by conventional insulation materials. Many understand that insulation materials influence the performance of a cable. Wireworld created unique polymer composites designed specifically to optimize fidelity. The benefits of Composilex 2 are especially noticeable on Series 7 Power cables where the reduced interference preserves the purity of the original sound thereby greatly improves performance. These new materials push the boundaries of there expectations for fidelity by letting us hear, see and feel more than ever before.
To achieve that objective, they developed the Fluxfield Technology™, a unique internal structure incorporating Composilex® 2 insulation materials, which maximizes inductive and capacitive fi ltering to absorb power line noise and damp the electrical resonances that other cords and power conditioners cannot tame. Among the innovations of this design are dual low-impedance shields, which are closely coupled to the conductors to cancel unwanted energy.
Wireworld power cords are designed to solve a completely different set of problems to audio and video cables. An ideal audio or video cable would pass the entire frequency range without alteration. However, an ideal power cord would pass only the 50Hz or 60Hz AC power, while blocking all other frequencies, to prevent power line noise and harmonics from degrading the sound and imaging quality of the system.
Wireworld power cords feature superior shielding & moulded IEC plug featuring silver-clad copper alloy contacts as standard, except Platinum Electra which is fitted with wired IEC utilising OCC® silver-clad copper contacts.
Wireworld Cable Technology, based in the USA, is a globally recognised provider of high-quality cables and interconnects. Founded in 1992 by David Salz, the company has committed itself to improving the enjoyment of music and movies by creating cables that minimise signal loss and preserve waveform integrity.
Wireworld's innovative approach to cable design has led to numerous patented technologies that have redefined performance standards in the industry. From HDMI, USB, Ethernet, and power conditioning cords to an array of audio cables, Wireworld offers a comprehensive product range that caters to every conceivable need in audio and video systems.
Each Wireworld cable is meticulously engineered, with unique design features such as the DNA Helix conductor geometry and the Symmetricon HDMI design. The application of such breakthrough technologies has enabled Wireworld to produce cables that provide the closest approach to a direct connection.
Central to Wireworld's philosophy is an unyielding commitment to testing and evaluation. Utilising a proprietary cable comparator, the company continually refines its products, aiming for sonic neutrality and replicating the original waveform.
Wireworld's commitment to quality and performance has garnered global acclaim, with its products frequently featured in prestigious audio and home theatre publications. Their steadfast dedication to enhancing the consumer audio-video experience makes Wireworld Cable Technology a preferred choice for audiophiles, music lovers, and movie enthusiasts worldwide.

Please take note of the following details regarding our cable burn-in service:
The Nordost VIDAR cable burn-in machine integrates three key functions into one operation:
The VIDAR employs a proprietary combination of composite and complex signals to condition the cables. These signals comprise ultra-low and ultra-high frequencies, extending beyond the range of video frequencies. The signal moves back and forth along the cable, penetrating deep into the core with ultra-low frequencies and traversing the surface with ultra-high frequencies. This transmission method generates beat harmonics between the two complex waveforms, which permeate all layers of the cable. The circuitry of the VIDAR also drives electrons from the conductor into the insulation area, neutralizing electrical charges.
The ultimate outcome of conditioning cables with the Nordost VIDAR is improved sound staging, increased detail, and an overall more musical presentation in your audio system.
Now, you may wonder why cable burn-in is necessary. During cable manufacturing, gasses become trapped as insulation is applied over the conductors. Additionally, new cables often possess high electrical charges, resulting in a brittle and bright sound that lacks the desired detail and depth for music production.
When cables undergo burn-in, the trapped gasses are dissipated, and small impurities in the conductor metals begin to exhibit diode-like behaviour, favouring current flow in a specific direction.
Here are the physical effects of the burn-in process:
When cables are properly burnt in, you can expect the following audible changes in your audio system:
At Future Shop, our goal is to maximise your satisfaction. That's why we offer a free burn-in service on all our cables before they arrive at your door, enabling you to sit back and enjoy the benefits of properly conditioned cables in your audio system.
