“…through experience, also know that TQ cables have a habit of exceeding expectations….along with a noticeably wider soundstage than the first edition Ultra Blue, instrumental placement within the soundstage – especially front-to-back – was better defined with the new cable. …putting the new against the old, it’s clear that there’s a definite refinement in dynamics and instrumental coherence. This makes the Ultra Blue II a serious upgrade that delivers excellent performance at its price point.” Jay Garrett, Stereonet.co.uk |
“The hope with a version 2 of any product is that it will be an improvement, an evolution from the previous version. The Ultra Blue II is certainly such an improvement, in fact, it is a huge step up in audio quality. Switching between the two generations in my system with the Ultra Blue II everything just sounds immediately better… more coherent, lower frequencies are more extended and defined, stereo image wide and more engaging. The previous version was excellent, but this is a serious upgrade and amazing performance at this price point.” Simon Lomax, Tellurium Q ears test pilot

“The soundstage has great depth, but appears wider with the Ultra Blue II…The balance between sax and orchestra is spot-on with both cables, but the imaging is more clearly focused with the Ultra Blue II and the orchestra sounds slightly wider. Overall, the top end of the Ultra Blue II is more elegant and the bass punchier.” (Read More) Product Review - HiFi Choice - June 2021

“The mids and treble also felt richer here. The amount of new detail though was the most significant aspect of their presentation. The guitar strums added new detail. Again, there was a rich depth here. An insight to the resonance created by the guitar body. A sense that this instrument was more than a set of strings, there was wood and metal around them. …and show the original Ultra Blue model a clean pair of heels” (Read more) Product Comparison/Review - Paul Rigby - The Audiophile Man

Each speaker cable is terminated to a high standard by Tellurium’s Engineers in the UK using quality banana or spade plugs. With recommend customers use Tellurium’s gold-plated banana plugs where possible. The design of this connector achieves a full 360° of contact when it’s inserted into a binding post maximising signal flow from the cable into the plug and then from the plug into the binding post.
From the dropdown menus' above, simply select the length of cable, the type of plugs required at the ‘Amplifier end’ and ‘Speaker end’ and click on the 'Add to Basket' button to add the item to your basket. Your cable will be dispatched as soon as it has been made by Future Shop's or the manufacturer’s engineers and has completed the specified burn-in process (if any), subject to Future Shop’s Terms & Conditions and stock availability.
Tellurium Q cables offer a unique approach to cable performance, focusing on minimising phase distortion, a common problem inherent in all cables. The Tellurium Q team understands that all signal path materials act as electronic filters, impacting the naturalness of vocals and overall audio quality.
Instead of ignoring this issue, Tellurium Q embraces it and engineers cables that provide a clear path for the signal, aiming for the most natural sound possible with current technology. Their construction involves multiple stranded conductors of varying materials, dielectric materials, and geometries. Every detail, from solder mixes to plating thicknesses, is carefully considered.
Tellurium Q has developed three distinct families of sound to cater to different customer preferences: the Tellurium Q Silver range offers silver-like characteristics without harshness, the Tellurium Q Black range (including the Tellurium Q Black Diamond) provides transparent and lifelike reproduction, and the Tellurium Q Blue range adds a slight warmth to balance brighter systems. Each range is designed to enhance the audio experience uniquely. They strive to offer a clear, transparent, and natural listening experience and invite customers to hear the exceptional results of their work for themselves.
Having entered the Hi-Fi scene in 2010, Tellurium Q has won several coveted awards and global recognition. With their extensive range of top-tier cables available in 37 countries, they've accumulated 154 exceptional reviews and 14 'Products of the Year' awards from international Hi-Fi magazines. They have twice received the 'Queen's Award for Enterprise' in recognition of their remarkable export growth. Tellurium Q's uncompromising commitment to excellence ensures its products are not just good or average but exceptional, offering customers the best available in its price range.
