Reviews for Tellurium Q Silver II Speaker Cable - Factory Terminated

I have upgraded from the Tellurium Q Black ll to the Tellurium Q Silver II Speaker Cable. If your system is up to it, the change is substantial. Compared to my Black ll, the sound is more natural, while silver ll opens up again, more the whole soundscape, more vivid, real with a lot more detail. For example, more separation and detail, Drum skins and Piano very noticeable, in-room live feel. The voices are so clear and natural! There is more clarity and realism in the top end, shimmer and air in cymbals. Bass is now more controlled and realistic.

Overall WOW! I was not expecting this level of improvement, and it now makes me wonder about the benefits Tellurium can give me going further up the price list. That's for the future for sure!

A superb cable that brought life and dynamics to my system. As with many things in life, you don't know if what you have is any good until you are able to compare it with something else.

TQ silver II provided music in the higher frequencies that I hadn't realised were there. Bass and mid-range control are excellent and even proved better than a recently tested pair of QED cables, costing twice the price. Oh, and a wonderful soundstage and voice presentation.

Thanks for all the help and advice from the Future Shop team that I had spoken to in helping me to bite the bullet, so to speak. No regrets

I bought this cable relying on reviews. And I didn't lose; I'm pleased about my purchase.

I have the impression that the system has played a level higher in all parameters. Especially pleased with the timbres. They are natural. The bass is deep, very structured. Well, the high frequencies are magically crystal.

In general, the cable is amazing. I'm thrilled. Separately, I want to express my gratitude to the store's employees. They are great fellows. Thank you for your attitude to customers!

After being very satisfied with the Black II speaker cable in another hifi system, the cable was bought.

The Silver II takes it up a notch. It sounds effortless and natural, very clean but never bright. The bass is very well controlled and clean. Highs are airy and sweet sounding.

The previous cable was AudioQuest Rocket 11. Silver II is miles ahead. Considering the price, it very well should be.

I recommend that anyone who considers this cable get the free burn-in option of 96 hours because this baby needs it.

I like to do my research before I take the plunge on buying an item. Apart from anything else, it is half the fun before actually purchasing something.

My previous Cable was the Atlas Hyper 2.0, which is, to my ears anyway, a pretty good all-around performer.
Having recently purchased a new set of Speakers ( KLH model 5's....WOW, by the way ), I thought they deserved a Cable upgrade to give them every chance to perform at their optimum best....and the Tellurium Silver 2 wire got the nod over the Black 2 as I am a bit of a clarity addict. The Silver 2's are the best part of double the cost of the Black version, but as I didn't need too long a length, I could stomach the extra cost. I was hoping for a sonic improvement over the Atlas Hyper 2.0....but nothing prepared me for just how much improvement I would get.

Everything I have read about the Silver 2's has made a point of conveying just how much running in they need, with a few hundred hours being a general consensus. Well... I have had them hooked up to my Speakers and Amplifier for just about three hours so far, and the improvements are quite staggering....so all I can wonder is what are these cables going to sound like after a proper running-in period. My system already sounds more Holographic and defined with a potent but tight Bass punch and a REALLY REALLY sweet top end.

There is more air around instruments, and the sound stage appears to be already showing greater width and height.
My favourite music of choice is classical...particularly Chamber and Baroque.... and old jazz from the late fifties and early sixties.

I am also partial to acoustic and Electronic music....and the Silver 2's sound pretty amazing and have improved with all my choices within these genre's so far. It will be interesting to see just how much more the cables can improve my system over the coming weeks and months...but I can safely say that if their performance today were as good as they got, I would be more than happy.

I have read one or two reviews of the Cable that say that Male vocals can sound a bit thin, and the top end is too bright.
That is definitely not the case from my limited listening so far. Maybe I have just been lucky with the Synergy between my KLH model 5's and my Gato Audio DIA-250s amplifier and the Silver 2 cable....but I can only report to you what my ears are hearing.

I would say that the two things that already stand out to me so far are the increased clarity and airiness of the sound....and just how Sweet the top end sounds without a hint of harshness....and this after just a couple of hours of listening.
I am really looking forward to hearing some of my favourite music and performances in the coming days....and as I say, if the Silver 2's continue to improve, I will consider it a bonus for my lucky ears!!

My previous cable was QED Genesis spiral silver, which I consider pretty good.

This new Tellurium represent let's say a 5% improvement in transparency in all frequencies, specially bass, which is now faster and more precise. In terms of soundstage are similar. But I suspect the Tellurium requires a long, long break-in period; it has run 70 hours at home, it came with 96 hours break-in from Futureshop, and it still improves day by day.

After recently upgrading my Leema elements amplifier to Electrocompaniet ECI 80D, I thought it was time for a speaker cable upgrade too, I had QED Genesis silver spiral for a couple of years, and it's been a fine cable. After looking at reviews of Tellurium Q Silver II reviews on the Future shop site, I liked what I read and went for it.

Wow, did I make the right choice, so detailed, precise, outstanding, punchy, tight bass, and no harshness in the upper frequencies. Believe the reviews; this is a standout cable, worth every penny, makes my Dali Menuet SE speakers sing.

Upgraded from Van Den Hul D-352 which are excellent but Tellurium Q Silver II are in a different league/major step-up!!! This was a significant upgrade demonstrated by greater clarity in highs and mids with very controlled and well-defined bass! These cables provide greater depth and sound staging with a much more 3 dimensional sound experience.

I am running these with my PMC twenty 5.22i speakers driven by a NAD streaming amp bridged with a NAD Power amp and Tellurium Q Silver II compliment so well my HiFi setup! Very pleased with it! Great advice and service from Mark at Futureshop - thank you so much!!! Additionally , I have upgraded mains power cables (AudioQuest & Wireworld with Matrix power block) and this has also provided a significant incremental improvement to the overall sound!

Oh my ... this cable is really phantastic. Perfect Soundstage, really clear without harshness, combined with a magical "air" around every instrument. And the voice is just unbelievable smooth and like LIVE. The Mids are really musical and the highs so very precise and open, but never too much.

The bass is a class of its own, presenting a very fast, black base, reeeallly dry, but bouncy and feet tapping. I can say, that this upgrade is worth every Penny! GO FOR IT. But to boys and girls from futureshop special THANX to you!
