So, here we go again...
Looking to find something to improve upon my QED XT40i, which was rather lumpy in the bass and quite aggressive in the treble but an exciting listen nonetheless, with good drive, I tried the TQ Black II - but, like a few others on here have upgraded to the Silver II. In my system (Quad Artera Play+, Artera Stereo, PMC Twenty5.21i, in a small room, and with 60-year-old ears), I found the Black II to be an improvement on the QED in terms of detail and control. Still, overall it sounded rather polite and lacking in the punch I enjoyed from the QEDs, even after 200 hours plus. So, did the Silver II do it for me? I listen entirely on CD to lots of classic rock, blues & pop.
Yup!
It does sound more forward than the Black II (which I like), but it is very detailed, punchy, and definitely not lacking in oomph. Treble still has enough bite for me, but there's still a big reduction in the high-frequency "hash" that the QED seemed to give (to be fair, it's only about 10% of the price of the Silver II). There's more space around instruments, low frequencies have a good extension, and sound more natural with a much better definition. Electric guitars sound more real, losing the thin, wiry, "digital" sound they used to have with the QED. Drums still hit hard.
Overall, this feels more like a component upgrade than "just" a cable.
A few years ago, I said I'd never spend this much money on cables. Yet here we are...
Special thanks to FutureShop, Steve for his initial advice, and Mark for his time and effort in ensuring I ended up a happy customer. Cheers, guys!

This Tellurium Q Silver II speaker cable needs less burn-in period.
They sound awesome. The bass is very good, plus the vocals. Basically, all improved.
The Tellurium Q Black II's are good, but these are on a different level.

I upgraded my Tellurium Black II to Silver II and am happy with the improvement.
The 96 hours burn-in plus 3 hours at home while writing this review. Some time ago, I removed the silver-plated stuff from my system as it was bringing harshness, so I was afraid that TQ Silver II speaker cables would confirm what others said.
There’s no harshness at all. The Silver II sounds more natural and smoother, with a better soundstage in all aspects than the Black II speaker cables. The bass is definitely more controlled.
My amp (UR Unico 90) has a really big bass but also likes to show all the weak parts of partnering equipment, such as all the cables. With the Silver II's, the bass is spot on. My Dali Rubicon 2 speakers are supported by 2x Rel subs. I was working on the placement and the tuning of the subs long time and have now reached perfection. Now there’s no loose bass from the excellent Dali speakers. All is beautiful. The Rels are digging very deep (thanks to Tellurium Q Ultra Black II XLRs), and Dalis are under control bass-wise.
The combo of Tellurium Q Ultra Black XLR interconnects and the Tellurium Q Silver II speaker cables is amazing. This combination gives you plenty of detail, warmth, smoothness and organic sound with the wide soundstage and great acoustic reproductions of the recording room/ hall of the tunes. My end-game combo.
I’ve reached my dream analogue old-style sound in the better modern days version. The silver cables look like a steroid brother of the Black II speaker cable.
Worth to invest, at least in my case. Hope it helps you to make the right decision. TQ is probably the best value-for-money brand. All the best fellow audiophiles!

It really is everything that the description and other reviews say.
I upgraded from the Tellurium Q Black II and noticed an immediate improvement in the amount of detail and a bigger soundstage. I was worried that I might lose some of the warmth I liked about the Black II, but that hasn't happened; just more clarity.
Music is more involved, and TV sound (via HDMI) is clearer. Very happy with my purchase and feel that the cable is well suited to my system. I would definitely recommend it. Very good service from Futureshop.

Nothing to fault here. Great cable, very detailed with my Marantz 30s and focal Aria speakers. Great balance of treble and bass. Happy buyer.
