Reviews for Tellurium Q Black II Speaker Cable - Factory Terminated

I was in a need for an extra set of speaker cables so thought the Black II would be an obvious choice as I have been using the Black for 3 years with great pleasure!

Received the package in expected time frame after opted for longer burn in time. The Black II definitely has a more matured sound, almost as if all tones are better but still controlled. The bass is a bit lower but not boomy and soundstage is a bit more forward. These cable are best value for money!

I had just bought a pair of tellurium Q black 2 cables for my front two channels and a tellurium q bkack 2 for my centre channel all based on good reviews I read but I have to say even with a ton of burn in time there is absolutely no difference with the tellurium q cables to the ones I replaced that costed £2 per metre. Absolutely no difference in sound at all. I'd have gave them 1 star because of this but I've added a extra star because they do '' look'' pretty. On top of that it also took arou d a month for me to get the cable from the time I ordered it so a bit of a anti climax once I eventually got it. I'm just being as honest as possible.

Bought to relace Nordost Flatline Gold feeding PMC 22 speakers signifcant difference staight out of the box ( although did have 72hr burn in) especially on bass response. Service from Futureshop was first class even letting me change product during the purchase procedure, also good advice given by staff, would not hesitate to use again or recommend.

Improved sound stage when compared to 10 year old Chord Odyssey cables.

Theses cables were purchased as replacement for Chord Odyssey cables . The differences appear to be much improved mid range, clarity and detail, a reduced volume at high frequency and a reduced bass( I no longer get a tingle in my legs when sitting on the sofa) . Cymbals are not so pronounced, the chords have the same balance re cymbals as my AKG headphones which are plugged into a headphone amp and then into my Naim CD player.

In summary , wife immediately saw a significant improvement and commented on it

These cables maybe small in size but they big in sound. First of all thank you for the advice and service from Adam and the free burn-in from Future Shop.

When I first installed these cables I must admit I was a little disappointed with the overall sound compared to the cables I was replacing. However I stuck with them and how glad I am I did. After about 20 hours there was a huge improvement across the whole spectrum. Tight bass a more open sound where each instrument could be clearly heard. Overall a fantastic cable for the price.

I wonder if the extra burn in time was required due to the 6 metre length of the cables.

Excellent product and service. Very pleased with the service and advice given by Future Shop.

Tellurium Black II, is a significant upgrade over my Naim NACA 5 cable, much better grip on the bass.

Good value . Connecting Martin Logan ESLs speakers with Naim 252 pre and 300 power amp.

Seems to do the job nicely. Difficult to compare with the old VDH TeaTrack cable I was using as the hifi has been disconnected for two months while the lounge was redecorated. However initial perception is that there is greater cohesion to the music with the Black II. Seems more musical.

I choose the Black II due to a 10m run to each speaker and the desire to run the cable behind skirting. Works a treat. Thin and sensibly flexible.

Another great cable from Tellurium. I bought the new Tellurium q black ii speaker cable to replace my existing Tellurium q black, wow what a difference!

The old version of the black was good, but the new version amazing, the bass has firmed up and is more musical, the midrange is more extended and the top end has been smoothed out without any loss of detail.

It has mad my Naim system and Chartwell speakers sing!
