Reviews for Tellurium Q Black II Speaker Cable - Factory Terminated

I ordered Tellurium Q Black II 2 x 3m cables + matching jumpers over recommendation from someone very familiar with my speakers' signature (Sonus Faber from the Serblin era) and they perform extremely well and beyond the expected improvements.

Already after a full day (I took the 96hrs burn-in option) the sound gained in detail and coherence (I had Kimber Kable 4TC in bi-wiring termination), in a very realistic manner, yet never exaggerated (I have a Class D amplifier which are meant to be dryer than tubes or Class A).

For anyone with a setup comparable to mine (Aura Note V2 - 2 x 125W @ 8ohms - Class D amplifier with integrated DAC) and qualitative bookshelf speakers (I have Sonus Faber Minima FM2, first owner) which could lack presence over columns, you will definitely enjoy these cables, they will make you forget the size of your speakers...

At this price level, there is way more to gain (and enjoy) than to loose

I have recently purchased some Focal 926 speakers which are beautiful but like all French things
Demanded a little sophistication. The old cable I had been using was 14 year old QED silver anniversary,

Which had been fine but I really felt the Focals required something more.
I had never heard of Tellurium cables before but after reading & researching them plus the dozens of positive
Reviews decided on the Black 2.
I decided on using spades on the speaker end as it was impossible removing the dust plugs from the posts of the speakers (since very carefully drilled them out) which combined with the recent lock down led to a delay on receipt of the cables - this Was mentioned on ordering with Future shop who were very professional & informative throughout. Anyone interested in buying these beauties with spades just be aware that there will be a little patience required before you get them.
Like a lot of people who have reviewed these I was amazed at how small & flat they are but rest assured. Size does not matter. I chose not to have them burnt in (which in reflection I should have..... I would suggest the 96 hours) & it did take a good amount of time for them to show a noticeable improvement in the audio stakes. However I feel now that they have been run in the improvement to my hi fi system is superb. I am absolutely delighted with the new detail that they have provided & the bass levels are now very clear, louder & pronounced.
The Black 2s are not the cheapest/most expensive options out there but are worth every penny. I cannot imagine how good the Black Ultras or Silver ranges would be I only know that I will never not properly invest in hi fi cabling again. Thank you Tellurium Q & Future shop.

I recently upgraded my system to Musical Fidelity M6si amp and Monitor Audio Silver 500 speakers and replaced my interconnects with Tellurium Q black cables from previously run Van Den Hul cables.

In a word "beautiful"

Perfectly balanced sound with neutral delivery. A very fast and responsive cabling, some of my music is at 180-230 beats per minute, No bass diminished, highs are enjoyable with clear audible music heard playing from the tweeters and as the cables are only 48 hrs burnt in with most cabling taking well into 100+ hrs to settle things will only get better. In adding these cables and a pair of Tellurium Q Black 2 jumpers I gained 1 clear notch in volume on my amplifier with a cleaner, clearer sound, very nice !

The Future shop service was faultless, highly recommended.

During lockdown I have upgraded my Hi Fi to an Arcam SA 30 amp and B&W 705 S2 speakers. The original speaker cables I carried over were so bright that I was unable to enjoy listening and at one point I was seriously thinking I had made a big mistake in my purchase.

I decided to try some new speaker cables and came upon the Tellurium Q Black II browsing this site. I read all the reviews here and around the Internet general. I opted for the 96 hour burn and DeoxIT Gold and am so glad I did. It meant waiting a week to get my hands on the cables but it was so worth it as I had read reviews where it had been commented on that they don’t come alive until about 100 hours of use. I installed them last week and now less than a week later they have bought everything together, clarity, wide sound stage deep punchy bass. Everything you could ask for. I’m sure many cables much more expensive would be no match for these. Being flat they deceive as I like many Hi Fi enthusiasts was hard wired to expect big chunky cables to sound better than thin flat cable.

I bought unmatched lengths as well as my amp is nearer my left speaker. I first emailed The Tellurium site and the MD Geoff Merrigan assured me I would have no problems.

I also bought the matching link cables which added another £85 but that was also well worth it.

i have been slowly replacing all my cables with Tellurium cables, balanced XLR interconnects , rca interconnects, etc,
all in the black range. Finally got round to replacing my speaker cable with 2 x 9 meter lengths of Black 2 cable!

What a differance its made! You could say its the final piece in the jigsaw. Its just completley opened up everything from soundstage to bass etc, not going to repeat what a millon other people have said already!

My system comprises of a Rocksan Blak CD player, a Music Fidelity Nuvista 600 amp, an Isotek Evo3 mains conditioner, and Dali Rubicon 6 speakers on Isoacoustic feet. Only just installed the speaker cables after having then burnt in for 90 odd hours by the wonderful guys at FUTEURE SHOP , and staight away from the first CD I played I went WOW!!

I cannot recommend Tellurium products highly enough. Also I cannot recommend FUTURE SHOP highly enough for there expert help and fast response. I have bought all my cables over the past years with this company and have had an excellent response everytime I have phoned them up .

System, Quad S4 Speakers - Marantz hdamp1

On arrival, opened the box and the cables looked underwhelming compared to other brands but the z plugs are extremely good.

First impressions, you know your onto something special, incredibly realistic and smooth sounding, easy on the ear but sounds boring with long use, the notes and voices are muffled and flat causing the cable to lack any excitement. It took 3 days of burning in for the sound to change and then you will just sit back and marvel at how well voices and notes are rendered, it’s something quite special. The ecstatic reviews are a 100% accurate.

This is an audiophile reference sounding cable, once burned in and long listening sessions are an absolute pleasure.

Item delivered in good condition and relatively quickly despite the covid situation.
In comparison with my previous Nordost flat 2 cable, I gained bass and weight. Definition seems to be better.

So I’m happy with these cables even if the price is almost triple.

What else can you say about this great cable? Unrivaled price-quality ratio IMHO.

Full, detailed, wide, rather warm sound image but without loss of detail or control, deeply controlled bottom end.

In addition, perfect service and advice if desired.

Lovely leads. Got the leads next day so no burn in Adam recommended I go for tellurium black ll or Atlees hyper glad I chose the ones I've got can't believe the improvement of the system and they haven't burned in yet
