Tellurium Q Black Diamond Speaker Cable - Factory Terminated
The introduction of the Black Diamond Speaker Cable marks a significant achievement for Tellurium Q, building upon the foundations laid by previous ranges. While the now-discontinued Graphite cables were celebrated for their exceptional quality, certain systems did not fully synergise with them, resulting in a sound profile described by a few as overly rich and dense. This feedback ignited a quest for innovation at Tellurium Q, propelling them into extensive research and development.
In this journey, they experimented with novel material combinations, including a unique blend of Tellurium Copper for the connectors, to enhance universal compatibility without sacrificing the signature Tellurium Q sound. Although specific alterations remain under wraps, in line with their policy of maintaining secrecy about their design and manufacturing techniques (as detailed in our "Why No Tech Specs" document), the outcome was the Black Diamond Speaker Cable. Not only did it achieve a level of performance that set a new benchmark for Tellurium Q, but it also emerged as a more universally adaptable option.
The Black Diamond and the Graphite may share a visual resemblance, but the auditory experience they offer sets them worlds apart. The Black Diamond Speaker Cable not only surpasses the high bar set by the Graphite range but does so with a compatibility and performance that are nothing short of revolutionary. With great excitement, we introduce the Black Diamond as Tellurium Q's pinnacle achievement, already earning accolades that eclipse those of the Graphite cables. Experience the difference for yourself and understand why this product represents the zenith of Tellurium's endeavours.

Contact Enhancer Option
To ensure the best possible connection between your system, Future Shop recommends the DeoxIT Gold G-Series contact enhancer.
DeoxIT Gold is carefully applied to the plug contacts of your cable and is a unique conditioning solution designed to improve conductivity and provide long-lasting protection on gold, base metals and other precious metal contacts and connections. DeoxIT Gold penetrates plated surfaces, molecularly bonding to the base metals to seal and protect both surfaces.
The benefits of applying DeoxIT gold are:
- Improved Conductivity
- Maintained optimum signal quality
- Reduced wear & abrasion
- Prevents fretting/dendrite corrosion
- Forms a protective anti-tarnishing coating
- Stabilises connections between similar and dissimilar metals
- Reduces arcing, RFI and intermittent connections
Please select this option from the above ‘Contact Enhancer’ drop-down menu and our engineers will apply the contact solution to your cable connectors prior to shipping.
“The obvious danger is that the ambitious audiophile will soon want to recable the entire system with Tellurium Q Black Diamond…..Such cables really are the stuff recommendations to close friends are made of”

The Tellurium Q Black Diamond speaker cables' ability to retain drama and at the same time exhibit utmost transparency was demonstrated in a strikingly impressive manner. The xylophone sounds extended almost forever (so to speak) and were sharply projected on the virtual soundstage. It was exciting to “observe” (hear) tones forming in front of me with all the right natural colors/timbres and then slowly fading away. There was lots of air around the instruments and their separation was exemplary. The micro dynamic ability of the Tellurium Q Black Diamond speaker cables was breathtakingly good and great micro dynamic responsiveness is the main reason why some systems sound incredibly vivid and lifelike.”

"... reviewing the Tellurium Q Black Diamond speaker cable. Up to this point I had not found any cable over the last decade that had outperformed the Philosophy Cables loom that had been in situ. Until now. "

"But perhaps their reticence is understandable when the product sounds as good as this – after all, why let others in on the secret? Used in a variety of systems the Black Diamonds consistently revealed a wider perceived bandwidth, bigger soundstage and the ability to present transient details in an effortless fashion"

“My final thoughts are of complete admiration for the Tellurium Q black Diamond Speaker cables, they are incredible speaker cables, absolutely incredible. I am still stunned by how I was able to hear the deficiencies of my system, but once fixed the sound was elevated to a new height. This did not come easy, I was right about them in this regard but wrong about them for 99% of the time I spent with them. The last 1% of the time changed everything. I changed from being impressed to being in love and now I do not want to take them out of the system. When things click to this level then its kick back and listen time, then listen more and more with a big smile and some happy tears for good measure.”

About Tellurium Q
Tellurium Q cables offer a unique approach to cable performance, focusing on minimising phase distortion, a common problem inherent in all cables. The Tellurium Q team understands that all signal path materials act as electronic filters, impacting the naturalness of vocals and overall audio quality.
Instead of ignoring this issue, Tellurium Q embraces it and engineers cables that provide a clear path for the signal, aiming for the most natural sound possible with current technology. Their construction involves multiple stranded conductors of varying materials, dielectric materials, and geometries. Every detail, from solder mixes to plating thicknesses, is carefully considered.
Tellurium Q has developed three distinct families of sound to cater to different customer preferences: the Tellurium Q Silver range offers silver-like characteristics without harshness, the Tellurium Q Black range (including the Tellurium Q Black Diamond) provides transparent and lifelike reproduction, and the Tellurium Q Blue range adds a slight warmth to balance brighter systems. Each range is designed to enhance the audio experience uniquely. They strive to offer a clear, transparent, and natural listening experience and invite customers to hear the exceptional results of their work for themselves.
Having entered the Hi-Fi scene in 2010, Tellurium Q has won several coveted awards and global recognition.
