Reviews for SUPRA CAT8 Flame Retardant Ethernet Cable - Custom Length

Got a 13m cable to run from by router to a Paul pang quad network switch. While the cable is great for this length and to connect the router to the switch I found it a bit harsh when connecting the switch to my streamer. The audioquest carbon is a better and reasonably priced cable to use between the switch and streamer with a more relaxed and detailed sound.

Good cable. I have ordered some Ethernet cables else were before, but they where poor quality. This Supra is a real quality one! Although it is not so flexible (and maybe the light-blue colour is not everyones choice) it works really good for my HiFii-Streaming music.

The connectors are really solid. I can highly recommend this cable.

I run this cable on my Lumin A1. I have a simple switch on one side and my lumin on the other side. Compared to many other cables I tried, it is very smooth and melodic. Voice has a lot of presence and density. The soundstage is good. Not amazing but good. It is not aggressive like a lot could be but it neither warm. The resolution is not amazing. I balance it on the NAS side with a cat 6, this is a perfect fit I found. All in all, compared with many other cables I tested, it is adopted and will stay on my system.

Is even better than AudioQuest CAT7 Pearl RJ/E (10£ / 1m). Instantly noticable SQ improvement. Sound is better defined and open.

Received at last the cat8 Supra with Telegartner. Seems that the Telegartner are cat6a and not cat8.1. Wonder if the Telegartner8.1 would make it even better. For the time being: the best I Know ( much better than the Supra cat7+)

It sounds VERY VERY well. It needs 150 hours for break but later it sounds fabolous. I realy don't need a better cable
