Deft connect router to an Ethernet switch - performs the task perfectly, well made.

After installing the cable on my TV setup, I see an improvement in color, picture quality and audio. I would recommend this cable.

First let me say that I already own Audioquest Vodka ethernet cable. I bought two sets almost 10 years ago to hook up my old Musical Fidelity M1 Click streamer to my network. The cable certainly improved the sound quality so I am a believer of audiophile network cables.

Fast forward to present day, I wanted to run network cables for my Samsung smart TV, Marantz AV Receiver and Zidoo Media Player to my router. The Audioquest Vodkas are too expensive so I decided to buy Supra ethernet cables after reading the positive reviews on the internet. I also purchased an English Electric 8Switch network switch from my local retailer (this item can be purchased from Futureshop too) and ran 3 Supra network cables from the switch to the 3 devices mentioned earlier and one Supra network cable from switch to router. So this review is not just about the Supra network cable but its performance with the EE network switch.

The first thing I noticed when I played a Netflix movie on my Samsung was that the colour was more lifelike with better contrast and saturation. The mulitchannel audio was also more expansive and I could hear a bit more details compared to the Japanese generic Cat7 cable I was using before.

As for audio streaming, I have not tested that yet. My Auralic Mini has an SSD installed inside with all my music so it doesn't have to pull any music file from the network. With that said, if I want to use a network cable for the Auralic Mini or any future streaming device I will use my old AudioQuest Vodkas.

I highly recommend this cable if you wish to improve the A/V network of your home.

Bought the Supra ethernet cable (1 m) to replace Audioquest Forest (0.5 m), connecting the Modem to the Router. Noted that there is some improvement in speed when accessing internet with a slightly better display.

What amazes me was the hum (coming from my Altec Lansing desktop speakers) has reduced considerably vis-a-vis the Audioquest Forest cable.

The Supra Ethernet cable (5m) is an excellent buy - the connection between my router and PC was instantly improved. It looks and feels like a top quality product and it does exactly what it's supposed to do, very well. Futureshop information, advice and service absolutely excellent.

Had problems with my Klimax DS cable (Cat 7) so bought two of these, one for my NAS and one for Klimax DS, kept them as short as possible so no getting tangled and they work superbly, sound stage better and the mid range has improved a lot, far more detail, think you need to both source (NAS, Computer) and the streamer for bet results. JMO

Well made cable and delivered very quickly. Cable made a huge difference to my previous ( probably unshielded) ethernet cable and I consider it very reasonable priced. No chance to compare it with other ( more expensive ) ethernet cords but am perfectly happy with the upgrade I got
