What SUPRA say
SUPRA Cat 8 is one step ahead by providing a future proof cable supporting up to 40GBASE-T over a single cable. It is backwards compatible with standard Cat 6A. Supra Cat 8 is terminated with an improvement of the widely used RJ45 to be able to support the extreme performance that Supra's cable provides. It ups the performance 4 times from Cat 6A with a bandwidth of 2000MHz. Supra Cat 8 is used advantageously in TCP/IP and UDP application where correct data information is critical, e.g. 4K and 8K video streaming, high quality music streaming, gaming, data centers and in-building installations. By upping the performance 4 times to 2000MHz you are more likely to have no incorrect data being sent or not being corrected by applications in time as there is much more bandwidth to work with. This can be very important to avoid for example video loss in streaming or avoiding stuttering in music streaming and voice communication. Supra Cat 8 is constructed with double shielding instead of single shielding to best avoid interference and in so data losses than can be critical to applications It is also ideal for Power of Ethernet (PoE) applications as it has larger copper cross-section than Cat 6A, meaning high power and less voltage drops.

I bought this cable to replace the one that came with my Asus Zen WIFI X8 Mesh Router, which I use with a Virgin Superhub 4 (in Modem Mode), as I kept getting signal loss popups.
The cable itself is very well made and feels high quality. Since installing it, my wifi has been excellent, a hell of a lot more stable, and my Speed has improved too.
I'm paying Virgin for a 1Gb connection and was averaging 600-790Mb download speed, and now I'm getting 900-920Mb consistently. I would recommend this cable.

Replaced a generic CAT 5 ethernet cable {which can carry 4K video} from the router to the Sky Q box with immediate picture sharpness and less noise. Spotify through Sky Q is now more open and detailed.
I purchased another Supra cable a few days later to replace a generic 5e ethernet cable for Netflix streaming from router to smart TV again with significant improvement in picture sharpness.
HD now looks like 4K used to look, 4K is cleaner, and Dolby Vision encoded movies look close to cinematic quality. A worthwhile upgrade.

First let me say that I already own Audioquest Vodka ethernet cable. I bought two sets almost 10 years ago to hook up my old Musical Fidelity M1 Click streamer to my network. The cable certainly improved the sound quality so I am a believer of audiophile network cables.
Fast forward to present day, I wanted to run network cables for my Samsung smart TV, Marantz AV Receiver and Zidoo Media Player to my router. The Audioquest Vodkas are too expensive so I decided to buy Supra ethernet cables after reading the positive reviews on the internet. I also purchased an English Electric 8Switch network switch from my local retailer (this item can be purchased from Futureshop too) and ran 3 Supra network cables from the switch to the 3 devices mentioned earlier and one Supra network cable from switch to router. So this review is not just about the Supra network cable but its performance with the EE network switch.
The first thing I noticed when I played a Netflix movie on my Samsung was that the colour was more lifelike with better contrast and saturation. The mulitchannel audio was also more expansive and I could hear a bit more details compared to the Japanese generic Cat7 cable I was using before.
As for audio streaming, I have not tested that yet. My Auralic Mini has an SSD installed inside with all my music so it doesn't have to pull any music file from the network. With that said, if I want to use a network cable for the Auralic Mini or any future streaming device I will use my old AudioQuest Vodkas.
I highly recommend this cable if you wish to improve the A/V network of your home.

Bought the Supra ethernet cable (1 m) to replace Audioquest Forest (0.5 m), connecting the Modem to the Router. Noted that there is some improvement in speed when accessing internet with a slightly better display.
What amazes me was the hum (coming from my Altec Lansing desktop speakers) has reduced considerably vis-a-vis the Audioquest Forest cable.

Had problems with my Klimax DS cable (Cat 7) so bought two of these, one for my NAS and one for Klimax DS, kept them as short as possible so no getting tangled and they work superbly, sound stage better and the mid range has improved a lot, far more detail, think you need to both source (NAS, Computer) and the streamer for bet results.
