Reviews for QED XT40 Jumper Cables (1 Pair)

I bought these jumper cables and didm't know what to expect. I can certainly say that these jumper cables compared to the metal piece that came with my speakers gives a more open and engaging sound, it was like you took away some kind of blocking piece. The difference is not enormous but as in cost/benefit I would rate this a fairly good buy and even more so I you have quite a good system.

It is probably a good idea to use same jumper cables as your speaker cables, so for instance XT40+XT40 jumper cables.

These cables are used in this HiFi system:
Amp: Arcam FMJ a19
Speakers: Audiovector Si 1
DAC: Hegel HD11
Speaker cables: XT40
Signal cable: Real Cable CA-OCC90

After emailing Adam, who was very helpful, these have transformed the single wired Tannoy Revolution DC6 speakers. Sound is now smoother, I was suffering with occasional harsh treble, providing a wider soundstage ,more air around instruments and as result greater detail. Tannoy should advise getting rid of the tiny silver plated (?!?) connectors if you are not bi wiring. Very happy with these jumpers and excellent sevice.
