I have a new Denon CEOL N10 system running a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 50 speakers that I bought to replace my Aiwa NX9, which died after 25+ years of excellent service.

I used the speaker cables provided with the Denon initially, but despite enjoying the warm sound of the system, I was missing some top-end detail. I was recommended to try these speaker cables, which have indeed opened up the top end of my music without robbing its lower-end detail or body of the music.

I'd avoid these if you already have a "bright" system. However, they may work for you if you want to brighten up a warm system. They're attractively priced at Future Shop, so you can afford to experiment before thinking about upgrading speakers or amps (yes, the cables made that much difference!).

I had the bare-wired endings, as the amp can't take banana plugs. The only criticism that I could make is that in the info, Future Shop could say that a speaker length of cable means both "wires" for the speaker - yes, I bought 4 lengths (thinking that I would get 4 wires) when I only needed 2.

Bought as a simple but cheap upgrade/experiment over the standard QED 79 strand, and yes, it's worth it.

Sounds great and more spacious between the Audiolab amp and Mission speakers and probably gives cables twice the price a run for their money.

Highly recommended and super fast next-day delivery from Futureshop, and at a price... a no-brainer in my opinion.

I bought a Denon receiver, and Monitor Audio BR1 speakers, which were supplied with OK speaker leads, about ten years ago. After a lot of research, I decided to try QED. XT25 cables.

I can’t believe what I’ve been missing. For a reasonable cost, the improvement in sound is unbelievable.

I bought a set of these a couple of years ago and so wasn’t disappointed. Due to obtaining another amplifier, I was then able to bi-wire the speakers, so I ordered another set again. The speed of receiving them from placing the order was stupidly quick.

I will buy them again (more expensive cables perhaps). Highly recommend.
