Good quality at a great price, always delivers - it's a no-brainer!

I used a thick Sommer Cable and wanted to try something different.

I had a pair of Silver Anniversary XT with Cambridge Audio BFA plugs.

The sound is less bass-heavy and more natural than full-bodied, slightly clearer. Some may say it is a little brighter than neutral, but still neutral with my Fosi audio TB10D, iFi signature first version, Inakustik cable (analogue and USB, not the stock version, above it) from my audio source selector short WBC cables to the amp, QED Sliver Anniversary to my Dynaudio emit M10 on Isoacoustics stands.

I had it terminated by myself long ago, so I can't remember how to terminate it.

For normal priced hifi, most people don't need more than 10 pounds or euros per speaker cable.

For the price, the QED Silver Anniversary XT is very good.

Cables were made up and delivered on time.

The quality and finish of the terminations is excellent. A quality produce that sounds great.

I already have QED SAXT cable feeding my speakers, so basically, I stuck to what I know. It also tells that I love this cable!

It was first recommended to me by Sevenoaks HiFi when I bought my system. I remember when I was setting it up and decided for a giggle to use my old cheap crappy speaker cable for a bit and then swapped to the QED cable, and straight away, I could hear the difference, so if anyone tells you that speaker cable is just speaker cable you can retell them from that it ain't!!!!

Being ultra critical as one who uses a tube CDP to tube amp and ribbon speakers, I find it slightly lacks low-end dynamics, like the bass notes of solo piano. Also, on fast jazz piano, it is a tad slow compared to live. But I'm using tube to tube. If one or both ends are solid states, things might be different. Tone-wise, better than cables costing 5x more

After moving house, I wanted a more discreet speaker cable than the Cabletalk 3.1 I'd had for 25 years. This sounded fine with my separates of the same age but was bulky and black.

The new cable is much sleeker, and you can barely see it running along the skirting board. To my untrained ear, it sounds better too! Service from Futureshop was great, too - I qualified for free standard delivery, but it still arrived the next day!
