Top marks for futureshop for customer service. I telephoned on Friday afternoon at 15.45, spoke to Gary regarding the QED Silver Anniversary XT Speaker Bi-Wire Cable, He got the order processed and delivered to me by Saturday afternoon, excellent. After performing my burn in regime with the Tellurium Q disc for a couple of hours I was pleasantly surprised at the openness and clarity of this cable, the midrange was very good and the treble very sweet, OK the bass was a little down, but I feel sure that this will improve with more hours through the cable, in fact the entire range has been improving steadily. I have tried many mid priced cables over the past 10 years, from Linn, Ixos, Chord, AudioQuest, etc. and believe this cable represents the the best in value versus performance that I have tried and will get better still.

Futureshop have been excellent, nothing too much trouble and I would recommend them to all. The QED speaker cable is excellent, my system sings with them fitted. The sound is very detailed.

Significantly different than my Gale XT315 speaker cable that I had used for 10 years. The white colour blends in well with most skirting boards. The cable is easy to bare and add ends to. It is somewhat stiff and needs persuading gently to sit in place. The sound is markedly brighter than my Gale XT315, which is what I wanted and is to be expected from a silver cable. Purely by chance it has given my system the extra clarity it needed as it was somewhat muddy and veiled ever since I moved house.

Futureshop was able to respond my queries in a fast manner. Overall I pretty much satisfy with both sales and support services. I like the AIRLOC Forte Banana plugs which were terminated perfectly well. After replacing the old cables with the Silver Anniversary B-Wire, I found there is improvement in wider soundstage and tonally balanced.

Superb sound quality through the teac reference digital amp and cd player and through the mission speakers, deep solid bass and crystal clear treble, the depth and clarity is superb.

After almost a year with this cable, I'd like to review the first comment I put as I have been able to compare this cable with cables from other brands. I found this cable extremly good at giving good music details however it also gives a very lean sound compared to competitors on the same price range. Therefore it doesn't suit all types of equipment. I have now switch to Chord which gives me full satisfaction. However, for the price Futurshop is selling this Qed Cable it still remain a good bargain.

Bought this cable to go with my marrantz 6003 cd and amp and wharfedale 10.1's, Previously was using some cambridge audio bi-wire cable and have to say the improvement i have heard with this new cable is great and worth the extra cash, sonically much better and with a lot more punch. Also delivery was excellent ordered 2pm thursday with the standard postage option arrived 9-30 am friday, and it was well packaged. Very pleased
