I have to say those cables are fantastic. My home theater got a new breath of life and clarity.My older qed evolution cables had bright sound. The revelation is well balanced.

I have them with qed airlock banana plags and 96 burning service from Future shop. Service from shop was great. Package well secured.

Bought this as a replacement for the XT-40 cable I had and I am very happy with the purchase. The sound I get now is definitely clearer, especially on the treble side. With the XT-40 I was struggling to eliminate the slight harshness of the treble adjusting the speakers toe-in. With the Revelation it went much easier, the harshness disappeared.

I have bought this after reading other reviews. Not disappointed. But I don't change speaker cable that regularly so can't offer many comparisons. Recently I paired up a pair of B&W 685 s2s to a Cambridge Audio CXA60 with this cable on 24hr burn in - if you like open sound with pace & detail you will be happy (I am). It can be a tad bright but that may be my choice of music. I opted not for bi-wire on friends advice.

Comp-ared to the old system this replaces: Tannoy E11s, ixos bi-wire, Rotel 930ax amp, source principally bluetooth Crystal BlueDac (great utility) its definitely a big improvement but sometimes the older system adds character with non digitally produced material.

So far I found Future Shop is one of the best store to buy audio cable. The product range is high, the communication from the customer support is excellent.

With regards to the price probably Futureshop can consider more discount.
The only concern is currently Futureshop does not provide the AWB tracking number though the shipment arrived safely. but in case something happened it will be a dispute.

The QED's are now plugged in and do fine ! The good thing with these cables is that they are very well balanced and work OK with most equipments. Good value for the money, specially with the Airlock bananas. If your amp sounds a little too bright, they might be a smooth improvement.
My first set (bought a few years ago) was connected to a pair of Tannoy's DC8.
Having changed them for the new Stirling GR, and needing different lengths, I decided to try QED Revelation again. Well done ! Amazing image, far better than with my 47 Lab Kishemon (by far more expensive...).

very nice treble, the bass is excellent

the midrange a bit sleezy in the beginning, before getting used with the equipment and the electricity, but have gone for the better and is now good, a signature reference cable

a bit more strands and for a better price would be great, company's simply most of the time, want to get more money, and not to satisfy ultimately, when releasing product's, hope QED, will release next time a bit more strands, with the same quality and even better, then i would be quite happy with these cables, around this price range

Worth every penny!! I upgraded from 10 year old Ixos Gamma and the difference is staggering. I could've replaced an entire component let alone a piece of wire. Fabulous detail & balance. Amateur tip: Get bananas/spades on each end, or make sure you have a proper crimping tool. These cables are solid jobs, and are shielded to the teeth. Strip them back and you have no less than 10 core strands, per polarity, per side. Getting access to the bare wire will be a lot of tedious work....
