I liked this service. The order was shipped the same day. I ordered two pairs of cables with banana connectors. The connectors are attached very securely. I think this is one of the main point. I could hardly do it myself. Cables have good shielding. And yes, they conduct current well :)

This cable replaced QED XT40 cable and, before that, Chord Signature - the latter being far more expensive than the QED cables, which, to me, sound superior. I have read these cables take an age to burn in, in which case I would suggest you make use of Future's running in service, unlike me. At the moment with maybe 20-25 hours use they are more detailed and precise than the XT40 (which has a beautifully seductive midrange, incidentally) but can sound a shade bright with some artists. As I said, early days yet. With some more hours under their belt I'll do a back to back with the Reference Audio 40 and sell the others (and the Chords).

Cables are rarely universal, so it's what suits your ears and expectations and equipment. I have panel speakers, so they are naturally 'airier'.

Finally a big thumbs up for Future. Cables (almost) arrived before I ordered them. Do check out the burning in service though. :-)

Great sounding cable that was noticeably better than the Audioquest FLX Slip 14/4 Bi-wire it replaced. More expensive though, but well worth it. Quick deliver as well.

I remember when I bought 2x3mtres of these bad boys and my friend thought I was mad paying £90 for 6 mtrs ! At the time my Monitor Audio Bronze Bx2 were brand new and he thought the sound was ok but worth the £90 for cable? Well after he got back from Holland after 4 weeks , let's say he was blown away !

Excellent speaker cable. Given that you can spend much more than this for good component interconnects, it's definitely worth while splashing out a little on quality speaker cable. This cable is value for money and has made a significant improvement in overall presentation and timing. This is straight after connection and I think this might show that having the free 96 hour burn in was worth the wait.

The cable is stiff, but not impossibly so. All in all, if you are looking to upgrade your cable from budget cable, I would thoroughly recommend this product and Future Shop: staff were very helpful and communication was accurate, timely and polite. What's not to like!

I ordered a pair of QED cables, terminated at one end with QED banana plugs and at the other with QED spade connectors. The cables arrived promptly after the requested burn-in period, but both cables were terminated with banana plugs at both ends. Which is not what I had ordered. Also, the bodies on all four of the banana plugs were loose - no big deal as I simply screwed them up myself. But it does make me wonder how much care they took fabricating/terminating the cables in the first place.

I am happy to keep the cables as banana plugs will work ok, but perhaps not quite as well as the spades.

What a difference . Fantastic service from Future shop, order was on time and the product was well wrapped and protected. Great price too especially taking into account the free 96 hr burn in of my cables.

Cables have made an immediate and noticeable sound improvement too, my kit isn’t too old but it has revitalised the sound giving me more detail and definition. I’m a very happy customer.

I use it for 2 channel audio with Kef R700 loudspeakers driven by Cambridge Audio Power amplifier 851 W

It is a good upgrade from XT40 where the mid range was just bleeding everywhere. Timing and clarity have improved significantly and there is isolation /segregation of instruments in frequency they should be playing.

So in summary, it delivers a quiet, authouritive and chilled soundstage, perfect for my kind of listening which is contemporary Jazz primarily.
