These are a well built cable. I must say these have woke up my hi fi. I have got valve amps . I have got more expensive cables . I would not of got them if I knew about these . Well worth the money.

I already have a pair of this cable and I love this things for they give me ultimate sound pleasure.

I ordered another pair and they had been dispatched very quickly. My miss was that I chose ordunary royal mail, the cheapest method. I ordered on 5th November and the cables were dispatched on 11th after 96 hours of burnin. They seemed to disappear. They finally arrived on 2nd December. Lessons learned: At least, choose tracked mail as delivery method.

Fantastic cables. They transformed my whole acoustic experience, which is something I could never believe before I hear them. If you want a rather cheap upgrade to your HiFi system, look no further. These cables are just made for this.

Whilst upgrading my Cyrus stack, I thought it a good idea to do the same with the interconnect between Amp and CD player and the bi-wire speaker cables.

There are many new manufacturers available since I last did this but decided to opt for QED because of their reputation and comments/advice from friends and retailers. I am told there are better cables available but very few have been at the top of the tree for 40 years.

My old interconnect was German and very good too but the burnt-in QED just seems to drive my B&W CM4 with little effort and less volume (I have to appease my wife somehow). I've just been told that my new speaker cables are in the post; can't wait!

Ecellent service and cable. I bought a QED Reference Audio 40 Cable from Futureshop, after realising the disappointing cable I had been using (which I bid for) wasn't a genuine product. There are cheap,counterfeit cables out there folks.

So...If you have a decent system, this cable will enhance everything to do with sound quality. This isn't 'snake oil' or my imagination, it is fact. There is more detail, especially on the trebles. There is more space between the instruments. Delays, echoes and reverbs are more evident, giving a sense of greater depth. Bass is a little tighter. Imagery is more focused. Vocals are placed more forward in the mix. The whole sound is a little cleaner. These were all the improvements I was hoping for and gladly got. I'm hearing subtleties and detail I have never noticed before, on tracks I have been listening to all my life.

Surprisingly, there is more control over the sound. I was on the verge of selling my speakers as they sounded clumsy - the loud parts of the music were too loud, startling me, snare and bass drums making me jump. Complex parts were muddled. The loud parts of the music are now integrated with the rest of the music and the complex parts are more defined and precise. This was a major bonus that I was not expecting.

If you are looking to transform a £300 system, this cable will do nothing for you, if that is the case....1. Buy new speakers 2. Buy a new amp, then try a quality cable. If you want noticeable improvements to your quality system, buy this cable and enjoy.
