It's not properly run in yet, but I'm certainly not disappointed . Received a faulty cable, which was replaced promptly.

They are certainly high quality.

At age 71 and with hearing defects due largely to many high-volume gigs, I wondered if spending so much on upgrading 3 interconnects was wise.


However, I was staggered to notice a huge improvement in the audio quality of my half-decent system in 3 ways:
1 Presence. Immediately noticeable improvement in overall sound envelope and directness. I was not expecting this benefit at all.

2 Detail. Yes, I had been hoping for this as the main improvement. It is self-explanatory, but the definition of instrumentation clearly enhanced.

3 Improvement in bass. Again, I was hoping for this. But was delighted with the uplift in range and depth, with no blurring of detail or negative impact on mid-range. Delighted.
We all take a leap of faith in spending on upgrades and hope for a valued improvement. These interconnects immediately gave noticeable audio improvement. I wish I'd made this upgrade a decade ago.

Recommended - you will notice a vast improvement if your current interconnects are in the middle of the road.

I noted clearer sound from my new addition immediately.

Let me say they do! I added the QED Reference 40 audio cables to my set-up ( Q Acoustic Concept 50 speakers / Holo Audio Spring 3 Level 2 DAC / MOON 240i amp & what a difference in the detail and sonic output I heard.

I was using high-quality Monster cables (yes I know, not audiophile grade) and can only say the Reference 40 cable was worth every dollar spent.

Connectors need to be a little less tight to be able to attach to the amplifier without potentially damaging the amplifier.

Please watch YouTube videos before installing your cables to the RCA terminal. It can be tricky if you don’t know how to use the ANALOC plugs! I almost damaged my RCA terminal and the cable plugs due to not understanding how the ANALOC are installed.

Otherwise, cable is well build and good sounding.

Well-made cables and very transparent, with no colouration to the sound at all.

Good midrange, upper frequency is detailed, but absolutely not harsh.

THE QED SOUND MUCH BETTER THE THE TWO PAIRS OF CHORD COMPANY CABLES I USED BEFORE.

JUST SWEET SOUNDING WITH MY MARANTZ AMP AND MONITOR AUDIO SILVER 8.
