Signals received by a Satellite dish or other aerial system are extremely small and very susceptible to interference and corruption through the use of inferior cables. Unfortunately, the typical “free-out-of-the-box” aerial lead has two major problems, poor impedance accuracy and lack of shielding. Poor impedance accuracy results in degradation of a perfectly good aerial system, as signal energy is reflected back to the aerial rather than reaching your TV. Minimal shielding from external interference causes a further loss of picture clarity.

1. We use Royal Mail 1st Class Services as a Standard Postage Option
Orders received before 4.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by futureshop.co.uk by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.

I'd had been having issues with my TV reception for a while: picture freeze, pixelation, and channel loss.
I knew the coaxial cable in the wall cavity connected from the aerial to the wall socket was good, so the problem had to be with the cable that plugs into the TV from the socket.
After several cheaper cables, it made very little difference, so I decided to try the QED Reference cable in 1-meter length which made all the difference. I now have full restoration of all channels with perfect picture quality, so the purchase was worth it for me.
It's a little pricey, but it's the old adage you pay for what you get...Future Shop is also great to deal with, with good communication and fast delivery.

This is a great quality item. Having recently experienced some issues with Freeview channel loss and severe pixelation (caused by power being turned up on a nearby 5G mast, and despite already having 3 levels of anti-5G filter from the aerial to the TV), I managed to recover almost all of the affected channels and have great picture quality, thanks to this cable.
Other TVs in the house were forced to use Freesat, but this cable worked well for me. Other cheaper aerial cables barely improved the reception problems.
I can thoroughly recommend this.

I bought this cable because I had problems with my Freeview signal. Anyone who has been through this process knows that many variables might affect your picture, and ruling out RF interference is always the first thing I try.
Properly shielded cable such as QED allows you to do this. The picture (when I could get it) was immediately brighter and sharper. The cable itself feels solid, is white (trivial, you might think, but it's an awful lot less conspicuous in that colour) and has just the right balance of rigidity vs flexibility - it hangs nicely.
In the end, it turned out that I was tuned to the wrong MUXes (well, the right ones if you check with the Freeview page), but I don't regret my purchase as, if, like me, you rely on Freeview rather than Sky, a quality signal is paramount.
PS For anyone interested, I'm on the Sutton Coldfield transmitter, for which the important MUXes are advertised as 40 (HD), 43 (BBC), and 46 (ITV et al.). 32, 34 and 35 worked way better for me.

The cable being reviewed was already fitted in my home between the aerial indoor wall socket and TV to good effect. However, the TV picture was not what it could be. Upon fitting this cable between HDD Recorder and the same TV, I witnessed an immediate improvement in the strength of colour, focus, brightness, contrast and sound through TV speakers.
This cable really helps to get the most from your aerial signal from the point of entry to the house. Like all specialist cables, it improves with bedding in use. The only drawback is the cable is not as flexible as cheaper, lower-quality aerial coax cables. Fab that it's available to order as custom lengths with male or female coax terminations. Tis the cats pyjamas.

I bought a male-to-male tv cable for going from my tv to the wall. I had a cheap one from Amazon, but many of my Freeview channels broke up, and I couldn’t get sky news. I did some research and decided to splash out on a decent cable. I also got the metre length which was an extra £10. Fitted to the indoor part of receiving terrestrial broadcasts, this cable collects the signal from the outdoor coaxial cable coming into the house from the aerial and takes the signal to your tv or another receiver. The effect of the cable is to make colours brighter and more vivid, add clarity and sharpness to images and give greater focus to sound up and down the frequency range.
By getting as much as possible from the signal received then transporting it with rf shielding to the tv, the cable got the best out of our tv. When used in parallel with a mains block extension, the TV sound and visual step up again. The cable will identify the differing standards of broadcasts from different channels.
This is an excellent cable and a worthy upgrade but does need a decent aerial and coaxial cable signal to the indoors.

We had problems with the signal to a small HD TV with frequent loss of channel signal. Unsure what was the cause we eventually narrowed it down to the aerial cable from the wall to the TV.
