1. We use Royal Mail 1st Class Services as a Standard Postage Option
Orders received before 4.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. Over 98% of our orders are usually delivered the next working day including Saturdays.
Standard delivery is usually within 2-3 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays . In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Futureshop.co.uk. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD or Interlink Express for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order Monday to Friday subject to stock availability. For International orders, we use FedEx Services where customers have selected this option.
Please note, special orders for non-standard cable lengths or custom-made cables may be subject to longer delivery time-scales. This may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by futureshop.co.uk by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.
Please note, Royal Mail Special Delivery for next working day may not be possible where non-standard cable lengths are ordered. If this is the case, the item will be shipped via The Royal Mail Special Delivery service as soon as the cable is custom made.
For orders weighing over 2KG, we reserve the right to ship items using Next Day Pre-Noon Courier Services where Royal Mail Special Delivery option has been selected.

This cable was purchased to replace an earlier one for my headphones, which only worked through one ear ( not a Futureshop product). My headphones can now be used through both ears.
The QED cable appears to be good quality, and was very neatly packaged. The delivery was also on time.
Although it was not a major spend, the attention to detail was excellent and in keeping with a company that pursues attention to detail. Hence, my review and a 5-star award.

We moved some furniture around, and I found a great new place to sit when I needed to use my headphones - Focal Stellia.
But it’s just a bit too far away from my source for my headphone cable. However, I honestly can’t tell the difference when using the cable. It's also so well made, and the connections are solid and look/feel great, too.
The cable has a rubberised or silicon outer, which means it's really “fluid” and doesn’t kink or get knotted up.

Usual QED excellent build quality. No sound colouration or degradation. Superb quality jack and plug and the cable is nicely flexible and tactile; however, the cable on the 6.35mm design is thicker and, in my opinion, gives a more reassuring feel for longevity; time will tell! All that said, it is a nicely put together extension cable.

I bought one of these to extend the short cable of my Beyerdynamic headphones and they do exactly that with no discernible loss of audio quality or indeed any effect that I could hear.
The connection is very precise at both ends with a satisfying "click" giving confidence it will not accidentally disconnect with a slight pull.

It's a bit expensive but the cable and plugs have solid mechanical construction. I can't say whether it's any worse than plugging the headphones directly to the amp; I can't hear any difference.

Had I actually measured the distance I needed, I would have purchased the longer cable (I ordered the 3.m). Issues with the metric conversion is my downfall, lol. This is my third QED product I have bought and no disappointment here with the headphone extension cable. Don’t know if break in is needed, but my small experience has shown there is some improvement albeit slight depending on the cable make/brand etc. But this cable is such an exceptional value, the quality of the cable itself, the connectors, and of course the first class service from Future Shop make this an easy choice.

Up to the usual QED standard. Used to entend the cable on my ATH-M40X to enable me to listen while on the sofa at the far end of the room. When connected, it makes no difference - ie there is no change in what things sounds like, which is just what it should be - sonically neutral.
Good quality connectors at each end, securely joined to the cable, and the cable itself is remarkably similar to what it attached to the headphones, which is flexible and lightweight, but at the same time feels solid and well made.

QED leads are some of the best on the market the headphone extension I purchased is superb. It's well made looks and feels like QED quality. The usage is slightly unusual I needed the extension to plug into a headphone amp to extend my Grado headphones which goes into a guitar amplifier. The trasformation of sound is amazing the small Blackstar 30 watt practise amp I have which is digital now sounds like my Marshall 100 watt valve amp. I've always used quality interconnects and this one doesn't disappoint.

Currently listening to a live recording of an Ethan Johns concert at Kings Place. A 24 bit 96000 FLAC file, this was always a superlative recording. With the QED cable added to the equation, it goes a little bit beyond. An old chestnut: it's like being there. Recommended.
