Reviews for QED Original Bi-Wire Speaker Cable - Custom Length

Having bi-wirable speakers, I decided to try a second cable but with little improvement.

I spoke with Future Shop and went for the QED Original Bi-Wire Speaker Cable, which was made up with the QED AirLoc plugs. They were kind enough to burn them in for 96 hours, and the clarity and depth of sound are now almost beyond words.

My wife said I looked shocked, and having worked with audio systems for many years that is quite something. No - they are not the cheapest, but if you have a decent audio system and want the best from it, then you will not be disappointed with these cables.

FutureShop will give you good advice and make a sensible recommendation for your system. I would have given 6 stars or more, but it only goes to 5.

This is a review of Futureshop's service for custom cables, rather than the cables themselves, as I have yet to try them.

I rang yesterday with a couple of questions which were answered perfectly by a friendly adviser. I measured up and submitted my order around 3 pm yesterday, which included free first class postage as the order was over £100.

They arrived this morning at around 10.30 am! For a set of terminated, custom length cables, that is a phenomenal service! The terminations look great, and they feel like a quality product.
