Genesis Silver Spiral speaker cable can hear more details, and much improvement to the sound stage of my system.

i ordered QED XT400 speaker cable but there was not enough cable, Future Shop offers to upgrade to Genesis Silver Spiral without extra charge. Very good customer services. The cable is superb, let me hear more details, very good improvement to the sound stage of my system.

The product is great and I knew I would never get a 10 AWG silver coated copper cable at this price and with that build & geometry. Its just not two 10 AWG wire with some shielding mesh or foil but this one had all the works of making it in to rather Hi End cable and this is coming from the owner of an Audience AU24SE (Oyaide SRBN terminations) Loom. The cable is great with tight well controlled textured bass, solid center image and a wide sound stage thats deep too.The background is pitch black with excellent instrument separation. There is ample detail and the midrange is not forward or fatiguing but well spaced out and relaxed even at high volumes. No matter how hard you try the cable wont mess up complex music passages even at high SPL. The highs are airy and not bright at all as mentioned elsewhere they have more sparkle rather over a copper cable. I am very pleased and amazed too as to what QED is offering for so little money. Excellent.

As my order for QED XT400 was very delayed Futureshop offered me the Genesis Silver Spiral as a replacement at the same price. Very pleased with the result and thanks to Futureshop for their service.

I first bought this cable about 15 years ago for my main hifi to drive 2 floor standers. It is a very revealing and transparent cable with a solid bass and very sweet airy mids and treble. Its the best sounding QED speaker cable there is and not surprising that it is QED's flagship speaker cable. It will suit a good mid range system.

I just bought another short length for my desktop speakers for use for my computer audio setup and it is great cable as expected.

Definitively worth a listen to and it's good value, relatively speaking compared some other more expensive brands.

Replaced a mid level set of cables from another well known maker.I noticed a far better presentation.More energy and sparkle.These are very good cables,hooked to Conrad Johnson tube gear and Monitor Audio GR60 speakers.The bass was much improved,deeper and tighter.Futureshop gave me great,friendly service all the way to the US.

Coming from "van den hul clearwater", the QED Genesis Silver Spiral cable makes placement of the music significantly more precise.

I bought 2 x 1.5m and bare-wire i.e. no banana plugs. Not only to keep the cost reasonable but because it works. Note that Future shop's machine can't do the 96-hour burn-in without the banana plugs.

Decided also not to use bi-wire and keep relying on the cross-over built-in to my speakers.

Next purchase will be the Monitor-Audio silver 200 which are decidedly more precise than the equivalent Tannoy speakers.

Sounds as impressive as it looks! Was sceptical about expensive cables, I was wrong! Running it between a Roksan Blak amp and B&W 703 S2 speakers. Not had that set up long but replaced my old cheap-ish bi-wire cables and there was a huge improvement. Should also mention the quality of the terminations - just excellent! Customer service was faultless too.
