Termination
This cable is professionally terminated by Futureshop's expert engineers using QED's superb 24 Carat gold plated AIRLOC termination plugs.
AIRLOC is QED's specialised loudspeaker termination method and offers the very best termination with QED speaker cables. This is a solder-free, airtight fusion between the cable and plug offering optimum signal transfer, excellent signal quality and perfect long-term performance.
QED’s AIRLOC FORTE metal banana and spade plugs deliver a superior performance over many plugs offered by rival manufacturers for the following reasons. Firstly, the plug is crimped around the conductors under high pressure using a special tool supplied by QED. No soldering is used and as a result the conductors are in contact with the plug 360 degrees which maximises the surface area contact. Furthermore, the banana plug itself is in contact with the binding post again at 360 degrees. The net effect of this is it maximises the signal transfer from the plug into your equipment and hence a superior performance. When bare wire is used not all the conductors are in contact with the binding post and as a result some loss occurs.
Unfortunately the metal barrels for the AIRLOC spades were discontinued in 2012 however we still use genuine QED’s AIRLOC spade plugs with genuine QED heat shrinks over the spade plugs. This ensures every QED speaker cable comes fully terminated with the best of QED's engineering.
How to Order
From the dropdown menus' above, simply select the length of cable, the type of plugs required at the ‘Amplifier end’ and ‘Speaker end’ and click on the 'Add to Basket' button to add the item to your basket. Your cable will be dispatched as soon as it has been made by Future Shop's or the manufacturer’s engineers and has completed the specified burn-in process (if any), subject to Future Shop’s Terms & Conditions and stock availability.

1. We use Royal Mail 1st Class Services as a Standard Postage Option
Orders received before 4.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. Over 98% of our orders are usually delivered the next working day including Saturdays.
Standard delivery is usually within 2-3 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays . In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Futureshop.co.uk. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD or Interlink Express for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order Monday to Friday subject to stock availability. We have 99.9% of the UK covered With Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. We guarantee delivery to most UK addresses by 1pm the next working day. This includes Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by futureshop.co.uk by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.
Please note, Royal Mail Special Delivery for next working day may not be possible where non-standard cable lengths are ordered. If this is the case, the item will be shipped via The Royal Mail Special Delivery service as soon as the cable is custom made.

The cable sounds awesome, and at 42 strands, the perfect weight and quality, not too bulky for a discreet setup.
Choice of white or black. Fortunately each cable is paired in a flat crosssection so easy enough to mark each end of one side of a pair, as there are no readable markings on the cable sheath itself to distinguish one side at each end.
Opted for bare wire terminations which came nicely stripped and ready.

Great quality cable. This was repurchased as needed a much longer length to modify a speaker relocate. This is so easy to work with and not like some of the so-called bell wire options offered out there, which just are not suitable for anything but ringing a bell, so to speak.

Although the company is super attentive, the product I brought isn't great for the job. I had a run of 15 meters and 7 metres. Some running in an outdoor conduit. The sound is only just acceptable. It will do, but I'm not overly happy with it. Maybe I should have paid more for a better cable and taken more advise from the seller. They did inform me that it would be ok but I really do think the more you pay the better the sound. I took a risk and it didn't pay off.

I bought these as I needed longer cables to re-arrange my lounge. They replace some very elderly QED 79-strand. These are much easier to work with and I have not noticed any significant loss of sound quality. To be honest, my sound equipment and environment means I doubt I would get the benefit of higher-spec cables, so these are great value for money.
Ordering process was simple, efficient and prompt - my only quibble is I would like to have seen the 2 cables separated; I had to spend 10 minutes untangling them before installation. Unlike some other reviewers, I had no problem identifying the 2 wires by the ridge along one side of the pair.

I ordered 22m in white which came very quickly. I wanted white as I was installing the wires in a white painted room, so they didn't stand out. The cable is an off white and more like a dirty white, so they really stand out. We have a laminate floor so I needed to run the cable up the wall and above a large opening between the ceiling and a lintel for 3 metres. It does stand out (I may have mentioned that already but needs repeating). Also cable isn't marked as to which is positive and negative. I didn't send it back as I would have issues with other suppliers who supply white QED cable, so bit the bullet so to speak and installed the cable.
A fine quality, good value cable. ideal for wiring.....

My wife wanted some small speakers in the kitchen, so I went on to ebay to find some. I eventually 'won' the auction for a good british pair(I think they were!).
Then I thought about speaker cable. We already had a spair amplifier (Nad C372), and Audiolab CD player. So I found this company to supply the cable for the speakers. I had heard you need good speaker cable for a good hifi.
Anyway the cable that I purchased arrived the very next day, which was really brill.
I am about to wire them up to the speakers, but I have to wait for them to arrive. It could be today or tomorrow, the chap at ebay said. So I am waiting for them to arrive.
