Construction of the AC3 employs the use of multiple conductor types including hollow core, flat and solid core conductors, plus an outer shield properly terminated at only the male end of the cable. It is available in US, UK and Shuko style connectors.

Orders received before 4.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. Over 98% of our orders are usually delivered the next working day including Saturdays.

I bought this together with the QSA light Blue fuse. Not sure what I expected, but the result was incredible. It was like lifting a veil from the music across the whole frequency range. It brought forward all the music in a wonderful way, improving separation and clarity.
Used on a Mass Kobo 433 amp. If I’d bought a new DAC for £1,000 and heard this improvement, I would be very happy. Highly recommend.

It makes the entire frequency range sound better but gives you more of a focused sound on a spacious setup. This cable made everything sound better but significantly reduced the sound stage in my setup.

PS Audio are well-respected audio engineers that regularly test and review other manufacturers' products. (Check out their YouTube channel). As a result of testing other manufacturers' power cables, they felt they could make a better but financially more accessible product and hence came up with the PerfectWave AC3 Mains Power Cable - UK.
The gauge of the cable is much thicker than most others at a similar price, and the shielding is on a par if not superior to other major brands such as Audioquest unless you are buying their own high-end cables at northwards of three times the price. I don't believe any other manufacturer has a comparable product at this price point. As for the difference it makes, well, you need to be running a fairly high-end setup, in my opinion, to notice the difference. You might be hard-pressed to hear the difference if you have cheaper speakers and low-cost speakers and interconnect cables.
I'm running Chord Clearway interconnects, Mogami Gold Studio monitor cables, Chord Shawline X speaker cable using Output Frontier studio monitors, and a Denon amp with Wharfedale Evo speakers. I swapped out my power cables that were powering my monitors, my desktop PC, my Denon DJ equipment and my Denon amplifier.
The soundstage has been increased in size, providing me with clearer separation in the sounds and has allowed me to hear nuances in the sound I had not heard before, as well as tightening up my mixing when DJing. I combined these power chords with the Wireworld Matrix power block, which has also reduced the floor on white noise from the powered studio monitors. I would highly recommend these power cables at a price point that should give you a pleasing improvement for the money paid.

I run AC5 from the wall to a PS Audio Dectet and AC5 to power a Stax energizer. I used the AC5 elsewhere and called Future Shop to order another AC5, but after talking to Mark, I went with his advice and got the AC3. I'm glad I did.
The sound of the AC3 is much better than the AC5. Bass is tighter, highs clearer and sound more open, and I even heard sounds from my vinyl I've never heard before.
I put the AC5 back on energizer to try the AC3 on my phono amp powered with Atlas EOS 4sqmm cable.
Same thing, the AC3 was better. Even when powering the phono amp with the AC3 and switching to the AC5 the AC3 was better.
I decided to replace the Atlas with the AC3.
The sound of the AC3 is much better than the AC5. Bass is tighter, highs clearer and sound more open, and I even heard sounds from my vinyl I've never heard before.

I installed the AC5 version of this cable between the wall outlet and amp and was absolutely blown away by the improvement in sound quality. I decided to upgrade the cables between the wall and power block and power block and CD player. I didn’t expect too much of a difference since my previous cables were decent and had good write-ups. I started by listening to Qobuz hi-rez files that I knew well. Yes, there was a slight difference—a little clearer and the bass a little tighter. Then I fired up my CD that runs through my DAC. All power comes from the power block. That is more like it! Clearer and more bass definition. I think that I will be listening to a lot more CDs.
I decided on the AC3 for this part of the installation after discussing it with FutureShop. The AC5 cable for the amp directly from the wall and the AC3s for the equipment with a lower drain on power. He was right. Great staff to talk to. Friendly and a wealth of knowledge and information.
A small warning about these cables: they are brilliantly made but are very thick and stiff. You need room to install them. Because they are stiff, they can pop the plug off the equipment or power strip if not installed carefully.
It is highly recommended.

Excellent power chord - very thick, feels high quality in terms of build. Be aware that the mains plug end is bulky so you may not be able to use adjacent sockets in a power strip.
I was sceptical but it has provided more powerful bass, greater soundstage, impressive mids and a little extra sparkle in the treble- honestly a much bigger improvement on the stock cable to my amp than I anticipated. Note that bass can appear boomy for a while during burn in. After about 50 hours it calms down.
