These multi-award-winning isolators by IsoAcoustics could be a significant step in unlocking the true potential of your setup. With three different models to cover a range of weights, as well as a handy calculator on their website (see below), these isolators will boost clarity and widen your sound stage.
Please Note: the Gaia isolators come with thread adaptors for the 3 most common thread sizes which fit the majority of speakers. If the required thread size for your speakers is not included, then please contact Future Shop and we can supply alternative thread sizes with your Gaia's.
The GAIA isolators are machined units that incorporate IsoAcoustics’ patented design to provide a high degree of speaker isolation, while resisting lateral movement and oscillations, to maintain alignment with the listening position. Internal reflections from the hard supporting surface are attenuated resulting in greater sound clarity and openness. The soundstage blossoms to open up a three-dimensional image of natural, spatial sounds.
Optimal results are heard by installing these units with the logo facing the listening position, or rotated 180 degrees, to align the isolators with the speaker’s motive forces, lift and place the speakers into position as the GAIA lower isolator will adhere to the supporting surface.
“When a speaker is placed on a hard surface, secondary internal reflections result. Any artefacts of this smear that is similar in the two channels are perceived to be in the centre, causing the sound stage to collapse. The GAIA series of isolators eliminates this smear resulting in a larger 3-dimensional sound stage.”
Crafted with the vision of providing extraordinary acoustic performance, the GAIA III is the union of aesthetic visual design and acoustic engineering. The small compact design delivers unbelievable acoustic isolation that will bring out clarity and openness from your speaker as you’ve never heard.
Designed for floor standing speakers and subwoofers weighing up to 70 lbs (32 KG), the GAIA III will provide more openness and clarity. Structural borne noise is greatly reduced while internal reflections from the hard-supporting surface are attenuated resulting in greater sound clarity and openness.

Lift and place the speakers into position as the GAIA lower isolators will adhere to the supporting surface.
The GAIA’s are threaded into the base of the speaker or subwoofer to replace the existing spikes or feet. Threading the GAIA’s into the base of the speaker creates a strong connection with the speaker. With the top of the GAIA housing connected with the speaker and the bottom of the GAIA connected to the supporting surface, all of the energy is then managed by the GAIA’s internal isolator.
GAIA II is designed for floor standing speakers and subwoofers weighing up to 120 lbs (54Kg). Finished in an elegant machined dark chrome metal housing, the GAIA II incorporates IsoAcoustics’ patented design principles to deliver extraordinary acoustic results. “We all know the value of isolation when it comes to getting the best from hi-fi electronics, but until you hear IsoAcoustics’ GAIAs in action, you’ll never know how much this applies to speakers, too. Proving there’s life beyond the old faithful floor spikes, the cylindrical GAIA ‘pods’ connect into the base of your speaker, isolating the cabinet from vibration while resisting any tendency for it to move. Typically, they have the effect of lowering the noise floor, improving soundstage focus and tightening up the bass. With a machined stainless steel housing finished in dark chrome, and able to support up to 100kg, the GAIAs look superb – and what they’ll do to your music is magical." “I repeated the tests with other records, and the Gaia IIIs always came out on top... ...the Gaia-enhanced player allowed clarity and resonance to orchestral bells, and greater clarity to the recording as a whole. Stereophile Product of the year 2019 |
|
“Install IsoAcoustics GAIAs, replacing whatever footers your speakers came with. In every instance I'm familiar with, the GAIAs produced a marked improvement in overall clarity…” Stereophile Product of the year 2018 - Stereophile Editors' Choices of 2018 |

“The first most noticeable difference for me when I finished installing the GAIA III was how much more"freer" the sound was from the speakers, the bass especially instantly stood out, far more insight and detailed. Bass extension was far better controlled and tighter with the upper regions being more defined and natural in presentation. My system is hardly lumpy or bloated, but a more explorative and msical nature came with seemingly more weight as the bass was almost able to breath more and felt so much less restrictive in how it interacted with me and my room.” Hifi Pig Oustanding Product Award - May 2017 |
|
“There’s no doubt that the GAIA feet provide a high degree of isolation that gives the speaker the opportunity to breath and display a level of clarity and openness that’s easy to hear. Music just sounds right with them in place, and the price is right too.” Hi-Fi Choice Recommended - August 2017 |
IsoAcoustics Inc. has been manufacturing and distributing isolation products in the audio industry since January 2012. The patented IsoAcoustics technology is based on years of experience in the design and construction of radio and television studios. The driving force is Dave Morrison, closely involved in planning and building radio and television studios at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for close to 20 years. Dave Morrison was part of the design team faced with the challenges of building the world’s largest multi-media centre in Toronto: over 1.72 million square feet, with recording studios for drama, music, and chamber ensembles, special effects, radio and television shows.
Based on patented designs, IsoAcoustics has developed products for the Professional Audio and home project studio, the HiFi and consumer market, and large applications that include Pro Audio, HiFi and Live sound. IsoAcoustics distribution is structured with separate channels for Pro Audio and Home Audio, with product development within these channels. In this relatively short period of time, IsoAcoustics has grown rapidly and now sells in over 60 countries.
IsoAcoustics speaker stands to provide superior acoustic isolation and enhance the sound clarity of any speakers including studio monitors, home audio systems and sound reinforcement.
