Very good. I added one to my house switch after the ISP router, one to the Roon server nuclear, and one to my Pi, which serves my DAC. Just one makes a difference, and three is sublime.
I didn't think my network was so noisy, but it must have been, as the sound is now out of my line.
Naim and chord system is even better!

Although I would normally bow to true audiophiles and industry professionals regarding tweakery, I often prefer CD replay over streaming, so I was keen to hear if this device could close that perceived gap. In over a month of usage, I have not uncovered any new details or noticed any changes in the sound stage. However, there is a general sense of a slightly "cleaner" sound. This is very subtle and is, perhaps, more evident when removing the device from my system.
While I can't rule out the placebo effect of making changes, I'm sure this little device is doing something positive, but you'll need to listen to the benefits actively. My system comprises Roksan Caspian CD, Naim Superuniti, Rotel RA-1592 MKII and ProAc Response D18.
I can recommend it based on sub £100, but you should be happy with the major elements of your system and room management in the first instance.

As always, Futureshop delivered quickly and efficiently. It's still early days with the iFi iSilencer, but first impressions are that the music background seems a little darker.
I have it plugged in my streamer at the moment but will also try it on the switch end of the CAT7 as other people have suggested to see if this makes any difference.

I have two of these. They can be very effective, but it is a matter of trial and error until the best results are achieved. For me, my ethernet switches on the uplink port give the best results.

Give it a few days to run in, and you will notice things like a wider and deeper soundstage, more details in the recording become apparent, and a tighter and deeper bass. This has to be one of the best value tweaks for what I paid.
The silencer was placed directly on my Primare NP5 streamer, although it can fitted in other locations, I did find this placement gave me the best results.

Bought this for a wired ethernet connection between the router and streamer. The first thing I noticed was a more immediate and nuanced sound. Dynamics are cleaner, and bass is better defined. I suspect the lack of noise is helping transients to be better defined.
I am now rediscovering my music as the difference is that good. I am using it with a Cyrus stream signature, so results may vary from streamer to streamer according to how well the incoming data is filtered/isolated from noise. But well worth a try for other streamers.

This lan silencer works as promised; I immediately noticed the sound was clearer with better highs. A worthwhile investment if you're serious about getting the best out of your music streaming experience.
Although I found the Included instructions confusing, as it gave the impression the silencer needed charging, it does not need charging, it's simply plug-in and play.
