HIFISTAY's Dharma is a stabilizer, damper, pedestal, and resonator item that gained popularity in Korea with various functions and excellent sound quality. This Dharma is a sequel to 'Klaud Nain', inheriting various functions and performance, increasing the number of STS balls to 5200 to further reinforce the effect of the resonator, and applying the newly developed Swing Technology to the lower pedestal to improve the vibration damping ability.
Thanks to this, the performance of the existing resonator, which increased the openness of the high frequency and the amount of information, became even more outstanding. The dynamic changes that were felt as dense particles became clear and the musical inspiration conveyed by the performance was further enhanced.
Included with Darma is HIFISTAY's newly developed shaft with built-in swing technology, the Twister. By placing the Dharma on the Twister, this allows the flexbility to use Dharma as a resonator and damper. Thanks ot this, the Dharma is able to respond to a wider range of resonant frequencies and the damping force for large vibrations has improved. This helps to more effectively improve sound quality of your equipment.
A stabilizer, literally a stabilizing device, is used in analogue systems to keep the record and platter in close contact, helping to quickly dissipate the vibrations created by the groove from the platter. If the weight is increased for proper adhesion, there is a possibility that a problem may occur with the rotational force of the platter. The tightened stabilizer has excellent adhesion, but it is in a fixed form and cannot effectively respond to the movement of the platter with many fluid variables. However, Dharma is manufactured so that it does not interfere with the rotation of the platter as much as possible by securing fluidity while maintaining firm adhesion to the spindle through springs and bearing balls. As a result, the movement of the platters becomes smooth, atight contact is achieved, and you can feel the precise and accurate groove tracking through the change in sound quality.
Stabilizers change their inclinations depending on the material. Hard materials are good for accurately tracking grooves, but they are sensitive to the effects of vibration. In the case of soft materials, the effect of damping vibrations can be achieved, but even the grooves are absorbed and the sound becomes stuffy and blunt. Dharma secures accurate tracking by adopting stainless steel with good hardness, and a vibration control solution that can self-dissipate without relying on the platter for vibration control, so that the stylus can track more accurately.
Mounting the shaft, Twister, on the Dharma and using the resonator is just as dramatic as the stabilizer. In fact, resonators and dampers are actually at odds with each other. Both play a similar role in catching vibrations, but the resonator absorbs and removes vibrations by itself, and the damper applies weight to suppress vibrations and sends residual vibrations to the bottom. The Dharma has the best of both a resonator and a damper. When placed on an audio device, a suitable weight of 450g is loaded to suppress vibration, and in the case of resonance, it is converted into thermal energy by 5,200 STS balls and extinguished. In addition, the newly installed shaft with swing technology primarily attenuates large vibrations to further maximize the damping effect.
Ceramic bearings are a major component of spherical pendulums. It responds to the principle of action-reaction from external forces. Inside the rolling disc are three ceramic bearings. The double rolling discs stacked in two layers move opposite each other according to the action-reaction law, thereby canceling the vibration.
Vibration Absorbing Particles There is no hi-fi stay without particles! It is a round and round precision bearing that can be checked everywhere in Hi-Fi Stay products. It is hidden between products and acts as a starter that transmits vibrations to the upper structure or cancels it by itself. Sometimes thousands of particles are packed in one place, thermodynamically releasing unwanted vibrations. |

Dampened Oscillation Of course, in the natural state, there is no case of simple oscillation without taking any energy elsewhere. What should be noted is the question of which damped vibration is the most beneficial and efficient. The inherent characteristics of the speaker should not be damaged by suppressing the vibration too much, and it is difficult even if the residual vibration remains for too long. Hi-Fi Stay's unique swing technology has been researched and developed with the goal of preventing the reverse transition of vibrations flowing in the wrong direction, and natural vibration attenuation optimized for audio. 'Natural' cancellation of unnecessary vibrations. This is the basis of Hi-Fi Stay technology |

Precision Processing Technology 30 years on a one-way road, working with metal for the rest of my life. Even if the CNC machine that cuts parts becomes more precise day by day, it is useless without the know-how and ideas to handle it. The beautiful finish that can be seen in whole-cut aluminum and stainless steel products, and the step difference between parts that does not allow even an inch of error. The results can be confirmed by the performance of the product, the pleasant feeling that is conveyed during actual use, and the peeling. |

Tuned Mass Damper Think of a skyscraper in Tokyo. In order to cope with the constant earthquakes, the core of the building is placed with a massive mass of moving metal or concrete piles. When an earthquake occurs, these large masses move in the opposite direction of the vibrations, effectively damping the energy transferred to the building. TMD suspension for your audio system, Hi-Fi Stay will make it for you. When an earthquake actually occurs, the audio system on the hi-fi stay will be the last to detect the change. |
