One of the standout features of the Mediterraneo is its 60mm thick curved plinth design, based on the highly efficient concept of the Catenary curve. This design, developed by the Renaissance pillars Michelangelo Buonarroti and Galileo Galilei, provides exceptional elasticity, strength, and high density, all of which contribute to the turntable's exceptional performance.
The triple plinth structure of the Mediterraneo is reinforced by a 20mm board in polished acrylic and a 3mm thick stainless steel board, ensuring excellent damping and stability. The wooden base sits on three elegantly shaped and adjustable spikes made of anodised aluminium, adding to the turntable's aesthetic appeal.
In terms of technical specifications, the Mediterraneo does not disappoint. It features a 45mm thick high-precision platter made of high-density POM and is belt-driven by a proprietary control system. This system, developed on a Quadral-Core microcontroller enhanced by an audio converter, rebuilds the AC wave to perfectly drive the 12V synchronous motor, removing vibrations and improving torque for the best possible sound quality.
The Mediterraneo also boasts an 80mm long bearing/spindle design made of the hardest rectified carbon steel, providing perfect working fluidity. The bearing system is made of bronze for smooth and precise platter rotation.
Aside from its technical prowess, the Mediterraneo is also a stunning piece of Italian design. Its voluptuous shape is reminiscent of the beautiful Renaissance bridge “Ponte Santa Trinita” in Florence, created by the master Michelangelo. This bridge's catenary curve provides both strength and elegance, an inspiration that has been transferred to the turntable's design.
In addition to its striking appearance, the Mediterraneo comes ready to play out of the box with a B-5.1 tonearm and a hand-made removable dust cover made of plexiglass. It is our own ode to musical passion and dedication to vinyl. The 60mm thick curved plinth design is based on the Catenary curve, a highly efficient concept developed by the Renaissance pillars, Michelangelo Buonarroti and Galileo Galilei. Made of Italian walnut hardwood, the chassis benefits from the quality of such noble material: exceptional elasticity, strength, and high density.

The bearing system is made of bronze guaranteeing the smoothest platter rotation.

All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Futureshop.co.uk. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD or Interlink Express for items that weigh over 2KG. Items over 2KG are fully insured and will usually be delivered within 48 hours of placing your order Monday to Friday subject to stock availability. For International orders, we use FedEx Services where customers have selected this option.

Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by futureshop.co.uk by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.
Please note, Royal Mail Special Delivery for next working day may not be possible where non-standard cable lengths are ordered. If this is the case, the item will be shipped via The Royal Mail Special Delivery service as soon as the cable is custom made.
