The Gold Note Mediterraneo Turntable combines Italian artistry and modern engineering to deliver exceptional vinyl playback, featuring a 60mm thick curved plinth based on the Catenary curve and a high-density POM platter for precision. Its Renaissance-inspired design and advanced technology, including a 12V synchronous motor and proprietary control system, offer both aesthetic appeal and superior sound quality.
The Gold Note Mediterraneo Turntable is the ultimate choice for any audiophile looking for both beauty and technical perfection in their vinyl playback system. Inspired by Italian heritage and the artistic tradition of the Florentine Renaissance, this turntable combines classic elegance with modern innovation for an unparalleled listening experience.
One of the standout features of the Mediterraneo is its 60mm thick curved plinth design, based on the highly efficient concept of the Catenary curve. This design, developed by the Renaissance pillars Michelangelo Buonarroti and Galileo Galilei, provides exceptional elasticity, strength, and high density, all of which contribute to the turntable's exceptional performance.
The triple plinth structure of the Mediterraneo is reinforced by a 20mm board in polished acrylic and a 3mm thick stainless steel board, ensuring excellent damping and stability. The wooden base sits on three elegantly shaped and adjustable spikes made of anodised aluminium, adding to the turntable's aesthetic appeal.
In terms of technical specifications, the Mediterraneo does not disappoint. It features a 45mm thick high-precision platter made of high-density POM and is belt-driven by a proprietary control system. This system, developed on a Quadral-Core microcontroller enhanced by an audio converter, rebuilds the AC wave to perfectly drive the 12V synchronous motor, removing vibrations and improving torque for the best possible sound quality.
The Mediterraneo also boasts an 80mm long bearing/spindle design made of the hardest rectified carbon steel, providing perfect working fluidity. The bearing system is made of bronze for smooth and precise platter rotation.
Aside from its technical prowess, the Mediterraneo is also a stunning piece of Italian design. Its voluptuous shape is reminiscent of the beautiful Renaissance bridge “Ponte Santa Trinita” in Florence, created by the master Michelangelo. This bridge's catenary curve provides both strength and elegance, an inspiration that has been transferred to the turntable's design.
In addition to its striking appearance, the Mediterraneo comes ready to play out of the box with a B-5.1 tonearm and a hand-made removable dust cover made of plexiglass. This turntable truly offers the complete package for any audiophile, providing both aesthetic appeal and exceptional sound quality.
Inspired by our Italian heritage, the Mediterraneo turntable combines beauty and technical perfection into a unique instrument for musical pleasure. It is our own ode to musical passion and dedication to vinyl. The 60mm thick curved plinth design is based on the Catenary curve, a highly efficient concept developed by the Renaissance pillars, Michelangelo Buonarroti and Galileo Galilei. Made of Italian walnut hardwood, the chassis benefits from the quality of such noble material: exceptional elasticity, strength, and high density.
The triple plinth structure is reinforced by a compelling 20mm board in polished acrylic and a 3mm thick stainless steel board to improve its exceptional damping quality and stability. The wooden base sits on three elegantly shaped and adjustable spikes made of anodised aluminium.
The 45mm thick high-precision platter, made of high-density POM, is belt-driven and powered by a proprietary control system developed on a Quadral-Core microcontroller enhanced by an audio converter. The power control rebuilds the AC wave to perfectly drive the 12V synchronous motor, removing vibrations while improving its torque to deliver the greatest dynamic and the finest detail.
The Power Supply Unit electronically controls the 33⅓rpm and 45rpm modes as well as the fine speed adjustment, storing all settings in memory. The Mediterraneo features an 80mm long bearing/spindle design, made of the hardest rectified carbon steel to achieve perfect working fluidity. The bearing system is made of bronze guaranteeing the smoothest platter rotation.
A creation inspired by the artistic tradition of the Florentine Renaissance joined by today’s taste and technical innovation.
Fine woods, chosen for their elevated stability and elasticity which provide Mediterraneo with ideal structural characteristics and an unmistakable look.
Equipped with a 12V synchronous motor, driven by a proprietary power supply run by a micro-controller which electronically controls the velocity 33/45RPM.
Out of the box thanks to the full package offered with the turntable including B-5.1 tonearm and hand-made removable dust cover made of plexiglass.
