Saved me the cost of a new transport

Saved me the cost of a new transport. I have a nearly all Rega system (DAC-R, Elex-R, RP3/Elys) but use an old Rotel RCD-02 as a transport. I had become frustrated by the sound of CDs which was a little harsh (which can indicate jitter) and had started shopping for a better transport (CXN or Cyrus cdt) .
I tried replacing the Straight Wire S-Link Coax with Chord Clearway Digital Coax just to see if that would help. After a couple of days of use the difference was so clear that I've stopped looking for a new transport saving myself several hundred quid.Highly recommended.

I have a all Rega system and was looking for a companion digital cable to connect the CD to the DAC. I am using Chord interconnects from the DAC to the amp. On replacing my digital cable (an american product) with the Chord, immediately I could hear the difference. The Rega system became warmer with significant improvement in the separation and placing of various components of the music. The track Familia in Yo Yo Ma & friends no longer sounded confused but very coherant and crisp. Equally the track Needle & Haystack life by Switchfoot was very crisped a joy to listen to the clarity of each instrument of the band.
Absolutey bowed over by the Chord Clearway. No regrets. Worth the money spent. Now the challenge is whether to upgrade the rest of the cables to tuned array?
