Great Cables! I purchased these cables based on write-ups and recent reviews and wasn't disappointed! They were both a good price and delivered very quickly! Plus they deliver a great sound upgrade too!

I purchased a 3m long Clearway pair to connect my Quad Artera Solus to a Quad L-ite 2 Subwoofer with a 48 Hr burn-in on the Tuesday night with Next day Weekend delivery, and it was delivered spot on time on Saturday morning.

As with the other Chord cables I already have for my system, the quality of the cables is excellent, but more importantly the sound is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase other cables and equipment from FutureShop.

Great. I bought them for connecting my sky box/TV to my hi-fi amp and speakers. They do a really good job, vast improvement in base punch, separation and overall sound quality. Also, the service from Futureshop was first class, would buy from them again.

Sweet Spot Vanishes With My KEF Q900.

Upon replacing the entry level Atlas Element Integra with this Chord Clearway cable and running in for about 15 - 20 hours, to my disbelief, the sweet spot centre is now found in every sitting position, even facing directly onto one of the speakers!!!

Stereophile had mentioned the Q900 has a very wide sound dispersion but with the Clearway, omigosh, feels that music is now being presented 'live' in the room!!!...

Vocals now really sounds like a human voice while bass is well defined & strong where previously the Q900 will sound boomy (ie. less control) which many owners have complained but didn't realise it has nothing to do with the speakers..

Overall, if budget permits, would recommend this mid-range cable which would elevate the performance of your entry/mid level system...

Cable planned to replace my old "Transparent Cable Musiclink plus" but too clear for my system which is already sufficiently analytical. For music no problem but the voice is much less warm.

As I have stated in another review, Clearway is a very apt name for this cable. An astonishing performer for the money. Smooth and clear overall sound. Deep, but clean bass. Treble is detailed and sweet, but not sickly or syrupy. Very even handed and well ordered midrange.

Five stars in every respect, considering the price.

I also have the C Line and Crimson and the Clearway interconnect is a definite step up. Very even tonally, more dynamic than the C line without being showy.

Excellent deep tuneful bass and smooth detailed treble. Midrange is the real high point though, with voice especially good. No emphasis, just super clarity and realism. I have used the Chord Chameleon in the past and the Clearway is more even and transparent.

As I already had a similar digital Chord Clearway cable, I knew what to expect in terms of build quality, which is excellent. I am using these cables with a new Exposure Pre-amp and mono-blocks, so I cannot compare really. At the moment I am comparing my CDP via rca against feeding the amp's inbuilt dac via the digital cable. So having the same cable allows me to compare. TBH there is hardly any difference. I might get another pair of clearway rca's to use between the pre-amp and mono-locks to replace a pair of Chord Crimson interconnects. Whether I can tell any difference who knows? but at least I will be content to be using what I consider to be decent cables.

The new clearway cable is slightly thicker than the chord c line interconnects and so delivers more base but also a more warm and smoother and more full bodied sound than the cline with the array technology the sound is very life like rhythmical and dynamic so for a slightly less rugged sound you pay an extra £55 you have to decide if that is right for you
