I was quite nervous about purchasing the cable but reassured by the Future shop reputation,service and 60 day money back guarantee.

One aspect that enabled me to know whether I'd made a good purchase or not was the free burn in period. This allowed me to immediately hear whether the cable improved the sound and was worth the money. I'm happy to say yes on both counts.

I have Arcam FMJ separates coupled with Proac Studio 125 speakers. The difference was immediately apparent.

The more I played and listened to the clearways the better they’ve gotten like a veil has been lifted compared to my somewhat ancient VDH (the source) cables.They have a good attack and rhythm a better less boomy well defined Bass.Very neutral sound not warm but certainly not shrill though the very occasional poorly recorded CD Yes that’s all I play can be borderline but that could be down to my player amp speakers etc.

Overall I found them musical, detailed and lifelike with a good separation and I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I have used Chord cables for many years and remain impressed by their abilities. This is my first time with the Clearway range and I find it is more transparent than most, to the point where I might have to upgrade my source to make full use of its abilities! it will not conceal any deficiencies in your system so make sure your gear is up to it. Heartily recommended

I’d love to say I love this cable but I can’t! This is used as a phono preamp cable, and its not been used because my last cable was a slouch! I was using the chord C-line but thought I would upgrade to the clearway. I hear no difference from a cable that costs twice the C-line cost. Very disappointed.

Bought with matching interconnect to replace older chord silverscreen speaker cable and DMN Reson interconnect. To my ears punchier bass, fuller sound with a little more detail and separation too.

Better overall balance all around. Previous interconnects were the Kimber PBJ. Highs are no longer ear-piercing on higher volumes; Mids well-defined; & Bass is tight and more controlled. More warmth to the overall presentation.

I used the Chord Clearway to replace my previous cheap phono to amp connector. The Chord Clearway has significantly lifted the detail, fullness and clarity of the sound compared to my previous connector.

Warm, clear and neutral, has amazing bass.
With JAMO C607 (tweeters from composite material consisting of cellulose and glass fiber; silk dome) Chord Clearway cable sounds way better than Atlas Equator OCC.

Purchased this cable to connect my Naim NX2 streamer to a Violectric V280 headphone amp, which in turn powers a pair of Meze Empyrean headphones. Sound quality is very good but it is difficult for me to comment on the absolute performance as no other RCA to RCA cables have been tried.
