Reviews for Chord Clearway 2 RCA to 2 RCA Audio Cable Pair

I have two pairs of Clearway interconnect connected from preamp to 16 bits antique cd player and 24 bits modern cd players, respectfully. The result is satisfactory for 16 bits cd playing more open, bright, silky, natural. The 24 bits cd plays more detailed, instruments separation, more clarity and depth.

Remarks: above upgrade is more obvious when I shift to Chord Rumour X speaker.
Given four stars because a bit dry.

I only listen through headphones, and about five years ago, I bought some recommended interconnects to link my headphone amplifier (class A amplification) to my cd player.

The overall "soundscape" then included incredible detail, and the overall BALANCE of what was reaching my ears overcame a perceived positioning problem.

I recently bought a more critical pair of headphones, and the perceived positioning problem returned, so I bought these Chord Clearways (0.25M shorter). The detail is incredible, and the overall balance of sounds and positions is improved. EXCELLENT and good value !!

In my opinion, the improvement in sound quality is definitely worth the outlay.

I chose the free 96Hr burn-in option, a no-brainer if you can wait.

I will be repurchasing Chord products from Futureshop due to the prompt service.

I bought it for the connection between DAC and Pre-amplifier. The sound becomes transparent and clear.

Worth it.

These are excellent audio cables. I am using them with an Arcam amp and CD player.

I purchased a Clearway RCA about 18 months ago and was very satisfied with how it sounded. However, I purchased the new version of Clearway RCA with ChorAlloy terminations last month based on the updated review (see link below) in What-HiFi. I took a few weeks to listen to music from many genres that I am very familiar with. Overall I noticed that everything I listened to sounded noticeably better. Gone was the only occasionally slight but noticeable sizzle that was present in the original Clearway. Also, the base is a bit tighter, the voices are more organic, and the string instruments' inner detail is better presented in the ChorAlloy version.

An excellent example is within the album Appalachian Journey by Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer, Mark O'Connor, w/ James Taylor, and Allison Krause. Even my Spotify playlists sound better with the newer cable. I am very happy with this new cable and will be putting my original Clearway up for sale on eBay.

I considered numerous interconnects reviews and am well aware of this company’s reputation. Unfortunately, IMO some American products have become too expensive, and the reviews are appearing slanted.

These interconnects have excellent reviews from credible sources. They are solidly built and fit my space well.

My amp is out for an update, but I am sure these interconnects will do the job.

This review is more about the service than the product (which is, in and of itself, great).

I used to be a non-believer in cables making a difference, but this product happily blows that theory up.

The service from this company can’t be faulted. An issue was rapidly fixed, and there was great communication along the way. Both the product and the company deserve your full support.

After reading several reviews about this cable (Chord Clearway RCA), I took the deep (spent £125 for a 1m) to upgrade from the Chord C-Line RCA.

As described in reviews, the sound is more precise and more engaging. Honestly trying to wrap my mind around the new sound of the system, i.e. even my SVS 1000pro subwoofer now sounds cleaner and less boomy.

Based on this experience, it appears Chord's cables got something special going with them, perhaps the positive reviews.

I have now purchased the Chord RumourX speaker cables, upgrading from an award-winning Audioquest Rocket 11 speaker cable. I want to receive them from Future Shop and experience the Chord speaker cable.
