Performance Audio 40i builds on the strengths of the original Performance Audio 40, and delivers an even more enjoyable and convincing sound - without affecting its prodigious value for money. Using the principles laid down in its industry-defining Genesis Report, as well as some startlingly original technology (including the ground-breaking Solid Complementary Conductors and Anamate plugs), QED has created an interconnect that puts as much distance between itself and its nominal competition as the original Performance Audio 40 did over six years ago.

Building on the success of the award-winning Performance 40, QED's Performance 40i contains two 99.999% OFC conductors of different diameters to accommodate high-frequency audio components and a foamed polyethylene dielectric. The result is remarkably well-defined sound at a very competitive price.

XT25 Bi-Wire was designed as the natural complement to XT25, the 5-star-award winning*, entry-level X-Tube™ cable from QED. It incorporates four separate conductor bundles into a single, convenient X-Quad™ type geometry and is intended to present a much more enjoyable rendition of the musical performance when used in a bi-wire or bi-amped configuration.

XT40i's complimentary jumper cables offer a solid replacement to the standard metal plates/jumpers that come bundled with your speakers. By utilising jumpers of the same quality/construction as your speaker cable, you can improve the overall performance, dynamic range and sound staging of your hi-fi system.
