Despite being temporarily put on hold in 1988 due to overwhelming manufacturing demands, the interest in the speaker stands remained. In 1992, the company re-evaluated and refined the speaker stand design, leading to the 'SE' series launch under the new Atacama brand name. This successful release earned accolades such as "Best Buy" and "HiFi Accessory of the Year."

Over the years, Atacama Audio continued to thrive and expand its product offerings. The Equinox Series of equipment supports, introduced in 2001, became the preferred choice and won "Product of the Year" for five consecutive years. In 2013, Atacama Audio acquired Apollo HiFi, enabling the company to pursue two distinct development paths.
