AudioQuest HD6-Forest Aerial Cable - Custom Length
The AudioQuest HD6-Forest aerial cable is supplied in a white CL3 PVC jacket, wrapped in a shield of 90% covergae of Foil + Braid. The metal within is 0.5% Silver with a gauge size of 18 AWG. We finish the cable off by using the ITC-18 Gold-Plated Connectors which are used to maximise signal transfer and ensure a reliable long-term connection. A true 75 Ohm cable construction ensures faithful picture and sound transmission. Perfect for high end custom installs over short or long cable runs the AudioQuest HD6-Forest Aerial cable connects your TV or digibox to your aerial socket for sharp, vivid pictures and dynamic sound.
Hard-Cell Foam Insulation:
Hard-Cell Foam insulation is used exclusively in most of AudioQuest’s video and digital audio cables. Similar to Foamed-PE, it is nitrogen injected to create air pockets. ‘Hard’ foam is used because the stiffness of the material allows the conductors in the cable to maintain the same relationship with each other along the full length of the cable, thus ensuring that the characteristic impedance of the cable is consistent.
90% Foil Shield Coverage (Foil + Braid):
Shielding always plays an important role in any cable design, but the shield on coax interconnect plays an especially important role because it functions not only as a shield but a return path as well. Because of this, AudioQuest pays special attention to the shield’s metal quality and the fabrication techniques as both will affect the sound and the picture.

Right Angled Plugs
Please note, due to the limited availability of right angled male and female coax plugs, we use grey nickel based plugs which are not gold-plated. We have supplied these to customers for over 10 years and they are a great solution if plugs need to be inserted at an angle for ease of installation.

1. We use Royal Mail 1st Class Services as a Standard Postage Option
Orders received before 4.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) are usually dispatched the same day by FIRST CLASS post (unless premium postal or timed courier services are selected), subject to stock availability. Over 98% of our orders are usually delivered the next working day including Saturdays.
Standard delivery is usually within 2-3 working days, although 98% of all orders are delivered the next working day including Saturdays . In extreme cases, such as delivery to the Highlands and Islands, this may take 3 days.
All items are fully insured and come with an invoice from Futureshop.co.uk. We use the Royal Mail for delivery of small packages and DPD or Interlink Express for items that weigh over 2KG. Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by futureshop.co.uk by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.
Please note, Royal Mail Special Delivery for next working day may not be possible where non-standard cable lengths are ordered. If this is the case, the item will be shipped via The Royal Mail Special Delivery service as soon as the cable is custom made.
For orders weighing over 2KG, we reserve the right to ship items using Next Day Pre-Noon Courier Services where Royal Mail Special Delivery option has been selected.

I bought this to replace a RA V21 area cable as it was too short after repositioning the TV. Seems decent quality and inexpensive compared to the RA cable. There were a few minor problems with the wrong fitting for the TV plug end resulting in a new cable being supplied, and the wrong one returned.
Jeff sorted things out, apologised for the error, and handled the problem professionally. A slight disappointment but nothing that would warrant a poor rating or dissuade me from purchasing from Futureshop again

I needed a properly shielded aerial cable, cut to 5m in length for my Freeview recorder, after getting glitches on a lot of channels with the old cheapie I'd originally bought.
Adam recommended this one as doing the job while not as expensive as the QED alternative. The problem is now solved.

The TV aerial signal for BBC 1 and 2 kept dropping off or not being received at all. Other channels were fine.
This was despite an auto search for channels several times. Following excellent advice, I purchased a bespoke coaxial cable, straight-ended, which has completely cured the problem. Reasonably priced for a great product.

The AudioQuest cable has good quality coaxial connectors/termination with good cable shielding. My homemade aerial cable had poor quality connectors, which often worked lose as I altered the angle of the TV on the wall-mounted swivel arm.
The AudioQuest connectors have a far better/tighter fit, which has improved signal strength and, as a result, no more pixelation. I purchased male coax to right angle plug. The right-angle plug didn't fit on my Samsung TV as hoped, but this is due to poor location of the aerial socket on the TV. The right angle is now on the wall socket, reducing the cable's stress.
This is an excellent cable at a sensible price.

I bought three made to measure lengths to tidy up my Virgin cable installation. These replaced many overlong, and ancient bits of wet string hung together with adapters and extenders. I also replaced the Virgin supplied splitter box with an Audioquest one.
Very pleased with the results; whilst it’s not a night and day change, there is definitely an improvement in picture quality, especially with standard-definition programs.
I’m upgrading my TV and need to be sure the Virgin feed is as good as I can get it.

I already had some of these cables in my system, connected to my satellite tuners & FM tuner. The FM tuner has recently been replaced by a Rotel DAB/FM tuner, requiring a different termination (F Conn). Rather than modify the existing cable, I opted to purchase a new cable with the required terminations.
The cable arrived two days later, having been custom built, together with some other custom built cables which I had ordered at the same time.
Until the new cable arrived, I had been using the indoor antenna which was supplied with the Rotel tuner. This was giving rather poor results, with a hissy sound in FM & an almost unusable signal with DAB. With the new AQ cable, the hiss was gone from the FM, & I got the full 5 bars in DAB, with a nice, clear sound. No surprise there, but it does show what difference a decent cable & antenna can make.
Build quality is good, thoroughly recommended cable & retailer.

I purchased this AudioQuest Forest TV cable as the cable I was currently using that I purchased from Argos was absolutely dire to say the least I was having to use a signal booster just to get a decent TV signal I looked on the Futureshop's website to see what TV aerial cables were available I came across this AudioQuest cable and decided to purchase it and I am so glad that I did what a boost in picture quality! Vibrant colours and sharper detail especially on HD channels gone is the aerial signal booster which has now been made redundant!
