Hard-Cell Foam Insulation :
Hard-Cell Foam (HCF) Insulation ensures critical signal-pair geometry. Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials all absorb energy. Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. Hard-Cell Foam Insulation is similar to the Foamed-PE used in our more affordable Bridges & Falls cables, and is nitrogen-injected to create air pockets. Because nitrogen (like air) does not absorb energy and therefore does not release any energy from or into the conductor, distortion is reduced. In addition, the stiffness of the material allows the cable's conductors to maintain a stable relationship along the cable's full length, producing a stable impedance character and further minimizing distortion.

High-Speed Data Capacity :
The Cat 7 cable standard has been created to allow 10-Gigabyte Ethernet over 100 m of copper cabling.
Directionality :
All audio cables are directional. The correct direction is determined by listening to every batch of metal conductors used in every AudioQuest audio cable. Arrows are clearly marked on the connectors to ensure superior sound quality. For best results have the arrow pointing in the direction of the flow of music. For example, NAS to Router, Router to Network Player.

Some places take longer to deliver to but we still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30 PM.
For the Next Day Special Delivery service, orders must be received by futureshop.co.uk by 4.30pm weekdays. Orders after the 4.30pm deadline cannot be guaranteed for same day dispatch.

As soon as you open the product, you will be impressed with the quality of construction, which oozes " high-end audio” gear.
On listening tests, it was no surprise that this opened up soundstage clarity and a rock-solid transmission over a basic Ethernet cable.

I purchased a custom length of AudioQuest Pearl category 7 ethernet cable to replace a basic category 4 cable between my broadband hub and my high-end Naim NDX2 streamer. It has significantly improved the system's sound quality—stronger frequency extremes, faster transients, and clearer detail.

This is the second time I have bought this cable from Future Shop, whose service is great, so that says something.
There’s nothing wrong with the cable sonically. I have previously routed the cable under the floor, so its short-comings were not apparent. This time I’m using it above ground, so its relative stiffness is very apparent, meaning routing around furniture, along skirting boards etc. is not so easy. Lots of shielding adds bulk and stiffness.
It’s a great cable, but drops a point for its seemingly unavoidable rigidity.

I got this to connect my BT WiFi Disc to my Bluesound Node 2i streamer.
I have the non-custom variant between my BT OND box and the Hub 2.
Despite having a WiFi link in the chain, this made a noticeable improvement in sound quality over a generic CAT5e and the BT CAT 6 cable.
In my quite resolving setup, there was a welcome sense of space, air and separation of instruments. Sounds such as distorted guitars, cellos, and pianos are more resolved with less dryness.
The custom cable is thicker and stiffer than my proprietary AQ Pearl, which is prone to linking, so I may upgrade that next!

I am surprised at the difference that replacing a Cat 5e cable, from a popular retail park electrical superstore, with an AudioQuest Cat7 Pearl RJ/E has made. I use this cable from the router to my streamer. I noticed a more cohesive rhythmic quality, improvements in low-level detail, and a better ability to follow individual instruments and voices. Backing vocals became more clear.
I think that this was a worthwhile improvement for a relatively low cost. I ordered the cable from the Futureshop on the weekend, and it arrived the following Tuesday morning. I am very satisfied.

Using the AudioQuest Cat7 lead as connection between a wired network (Cat5e) and a Raspberry PI based streamer and my Naim Supernait 2 based system and there is a noticeable improvement in sound quality. Also using the Cat6 AudioQuest cables between router and switch and switch and NAS and there is a very noticeable improvement over the old supplied leads in network data transmission speeds. When searching through photos on the NAS thumbnails used to take an age to generate and are now almost instantaneous! A very well made, robust product.

Bought these to upgrade the 'net path from my router and from my powerline plugs to the various devices ( TV / Oppo BD player / Network Streamer) .
Thought after reading the reviews that they might be worth a punt ....JUST DO IT ....such an upgrade for so little cash ! The noise floor has been lowered when streaming over my LAN and my TV no longer buffers when I select a streamed show ...cracking !

As always you get the exemplary service from FutureShop. The cable while not expensive perform way above its price point. Previously had the TV been connected over WiFi connection but reliability of connection was becoming an issue.
The cable now connected between router and TV has given an improvements in both sound and picture.
Makes you wonder whether an expensive cable can make any further significant improvements but for now I am more than happy with the preformance this cable gives.
