Better that expected. Quality audio cables at a reasonable price are difficult to find, but in this instance l think l have found one , thanks to QED and FUTURESHOP.

Excellent cable , settled in nicely on my Hegel H300 - Hegel CDP4A , well worthy the wait after a 96 hour burn in. I have bought a lot of cables over the years from Future Shop Excellent customer service , helpful and efficient. Highly recommended.

Special thanks to Adam Senior for his approach to working with clients and recommending the right product.the QED proved itself to be the most fidelity cable (and delivering better transparency, articulation and timing too). Which brings me to the important point: do not expect the QED to cure tonal imperfections of a bad audio set up. Use it only when you are satisfied with the sound that is coming from your speakers - doing so is the best proof of what the expression "to elevate the performance" means.

With respect to the QED Reference XLR 40 this arrives to replace the connection via RCA between the pre and power Primare. The quality of construction of the cable is excellent especially the terminals. The sound is perceived much more round in all the frequencies and the roughness that perceived with the connection RCA is lost. In short, a good change, I recommend it fully.

Excellent I'C's for the price.

Was concerned at this price that they might be a little bright for my Bryston BCD-3 CD player and Sennheiser amp (using HD800 headphones) but I needn't have worried. Quite a neutral cable I think with good bass, lots of detail and wide soundstage.

Excellent build quality too. Definitely recommend!

Very good cable. I bought the Qed reference XLR 40 in 0.6 meters and I am very satisfied.

The price / quality ratio seems particularly interesting, aggressive. I tried to outclass the sound with the Qed Qunex 3 and I was not disappointed ... a lot of natural and dynamic, beauty of the stamps, space perfectly mastered.

It can compete with cables much, much more expensive and puts them in the shade ..


Très bon câble - A acheter les yeux fermés. J'ai acheté le Qed référence XLR 40 en 0.6 mètres et j'en suis très satisfait. Le rapport qualité / prix me semble particulièrement intéressant, agressif. Je cherchais à surclasser le son obtenu avec le Qed Qunex 3 et je n'ai pas été déçu...beaucoup de naturel et de dynamique, beauté des timbres, espace parfaitement maîtrisé. Il peut donc rivaliser avec des câbles beaucoup, beaucoup plus chers et leur faire de l'ombre...

I bought the short 0.5m-ish length, for a nice simple chain- going direct from a Gungnir Multibit into a nice little Mjolnir e-stat amp over XLR. I didn't notice my nipples exploding with delight at a sonic upgrade compared to the previous Neutrik and starquad 1m cables I was using- but everything sounds clean and smooth as it should- bad cables can at least make themselves heard.

Build quality seems good, they're solid and attractive cables. If you want to put the finishing touches to a system with some decent but not mortgage-level cables, you could do worse.

I am very happy with this cable. Great sound stage. It really worth more than I paid.
